I'm trying to gauge if there is an interest in using NinjaTrader 8 and Visual Studio for building trading tools. I started in this forum almost 8 years ago and lurk often but don't post much. I have learned a ton from here and want to give back.
I've made a video how to tutorial on getting set up with NT8 and VS2019. I would like to create additional tutorials on how to create indicators and strategies. I think most on this forum use MetaTrader but would like to provide an alternative to those maybe wanting to go with something a little more robust and feature rich.
For anyone interested, here is the YouTube video on getting a visual studio solution set up.
I have and will always make all code publicly available for free. There is already a GitLab repository with all the code pushed for anyone to browse and download. Code repository link is here: https://gitlab.com/jasonnatordaytrader/jdt.nt8
HOW TO video is located here:

If I could help even a handful of people learn how to build their own trading tools instead of spending money on overpriced, closed source commercial tools, I would call this a success.
