It seems like you are asking for a trailing stop on each individual position?

There are plenty of EA that will do that for you

Equity Guard watches all trades and closes by equity gain or loss by percentage

Probably could run both at the same time but kind of defeats the purpose

Good luck

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Do you mean an option to start moving the stops of the orders?

Paul, I have used it already and works great.... I am treating every day as a new day....is there anyway to have a parameter "Start Guarding Equity at " " 0000(as an example) "Close All Trades at = " " 2259(as an example) Guardian then will start anew everyday and exit all trades at specific time, profit or loss.

Paul, I beleive your response was that it is "Already on the list of improvements!" Am I correct?

The next version contains an option to trigger a close at a specific date and time.

But it doesn't have the ability to schedule a restart, which is what I think you're after? You would need to reset the EA and enter a new close date and time.

Yes, Paul, I am asking for restart. Your Equity Guardian will have much more wider application.

I also trade breakouts but analyze each day as a new day, including fundamentals, higher TF, previous day momentum, etc..

Anyway you can incorporate Restart New Day = True/False?

This is not really in line with the purpose of the EA and is a rather specific feature that I don't feel that many people would use.

There is also a workaround, in that you can manually restart the whole process each day, which means that it can still be used in the way you are wanting albeit not automatically.

And finally, coding in such a feature is not as simple as it may at first seem, as there a number of questions around how it should work, what additional parameters would need to be coded in, what settings to present to users, etc.

I'll add this to the list of things to bear in mind for later development, but for now, there are more useful features to be added.

Equity Guardian EA This little EA is designed to protect your account from unexpected drawdowns and/or lock in profits. Note: It does NOT place orders. It does NOT amend existing orders. It can be used alongside any other EA or manual strategy that you care to use. Features Monitors EQUITY, not simply floating profit/loss. Can monitor all trades, trades submitted by any EA or trades submitted by a specific EA. Closes all monitored trades if equity falls below a specified loss limit (expressed in either an amount or a percentage of the opening balance)...

"Can disable auto trading when close is triggered."

Isn't it a problem that EA will turn off automatic trading? EA will turn off.

No, the AutoTrading button only determines whether or not EAs can open or amend trades, it doesn't stop them from running.

I thought so.

Then no, that's not the ethos behind this EA - it simply monitors equity and does not interfere with trades/orders placed by other EAs as that may also affect the strategy used by those EAs.

This is a tool to use in an attempt to avoid larger than wanted drawdowns and/or take profits at a predetermined level. It is not a trade manager.

That looks extremely odd - you don'even have a border on th epanel.

Can you try shutting down you terminal and restarting it, and then adding the EA again please?

That's not true. EA's still run, they simply cannot do anything with orders or trades.
