Is this a good broker for an American looking to distance himself from further NFA regulation? Their minimum deposit has been lowered to 5k and they are advertising MT4. Does anyone have a experience with them?

DislikedI have talked to traders, that are using this broker. And those had huge account, 6 digits and more. So seems to be trustworthy.
Just recently, they lowered the minimal lot size to 1.000 units - that's micro lots. Last time I visited their website, minimum lot size was 100.000 units. As soon as MT4 beta test will be finished, I will give it a try.Ignored
DislikedI'm in the demo account with them, but I don't think they have MT4 ready yet at the moment. maybe soon.Ignored
DislikedDon't waste your time with the Dukas beta MT4 it has a lot of issues as you'll just get frustrated. Wait for the full blown live version to demo.

DislikedHi
I asked them today when they will be with full blown LIVE Mt4 but they answered that they do not know when or even if they will....

DislikedWow, no MT4! That sucks, you can always use any brokerages demo MT4 to run your indi's and place your trades via the JForex platform but that's not going to help you if you use any type of EA. Oh well.

DislikedYep, have been demoing JForex (whilst using Alpari MT4) but not that impressed. I dont actually use any indies but do use a close all trades script and I am just so used to MT4.
Jforex - it's a bit cumbersome even with the "one click" option. Also, don't like how the reports are done. Very professional looking but not easy for my little brain to comprehend at a glance ...going to give it another few weeks to see if I can adapt...

DislikedSame, I use a few different MT4 brokers to track price and play with indi's if needed but as a intra day/night trader the JForex platform works great for all my trading needs. Plus the rebate doesn't hurt either.

DislikedProblem with dukas is the slow process with the administration work, they require us to send our copy of identity using MAIL, not email, and that could take many days, its so stupid considering this age we can scan the documents and send it by email which other brokers already use.
And if only dukas has API to connect the platform to Ninjatrader, it would be my choice.Ignored

DislikedHaven't used Ninjatrader (been with same SB and forex brokers for a couple of years and looking for an alternative) but the ATM does look useful... the ability to manage multiple orders..and option to trade off chart. The indies look much better too. You're spot on, dukas could do with that functionality. Thanks for the info.
ps can I ask which broker you are using if Nt based?Ignored
