Quoting accreteDislikedGreetings Mono. Just so i get my lingo down here (yes i've read from 1 to 662! and the original thread.)
1) In reference to the above versions. Is the first the 63G (or i suppose it could also be the v1a aren't they basicaly the same?)
2) The "Ind" stands for individual settings and would be the same as our version v1c? "C" for calculate?
Thanks for the clarification.
Cheers,

Quoting HAGeekDislikedover on the other forum strategybuilderfx there is thread about a daily breakout system which probably work good when the firebird does not.
why can't you just run both systems at once?
when market is sideways firebird will do good and breakout not. when in a nice trend the breakout will work good and firebird not.
makes sense to me.
trying it on demo right now.Ignored
Quoting HAGeekDislikedthats the one.
still in process of reading the thread... up to page 349.
i think i fried some of my brain cells.
what you think of the idea?Ignored
Quoting nvwineDislikedI was using an EA with that system until summer started. I only like that system during heavy trends. I don't think I would run both systems all the time.
My real hope is one of the versions of Firebird with the correct settings or modifications will handle trends. Near break even or small loss performance in trends would be fine do to the great performance Firebird achieves the rest of the time.
I might PM you in a few days about the other system. I don't want to get this thread off track.Ignored
Quoting HAGeekDislikedjust closing any open trades that are longer than 1 week old?Ignored

Quoting traderoneDislikedGoing on two pair only (EURUSD and USDCHF) on a $4000 account and .1 lots each.
Settings will be 25 TP, 15 pipstep, 250 SL for both pair.
FB 63G on M1 charts.
Actually I was considering running H02 with the same settings and a safe area of 40, but I have decided to go Original 63G.Ignored
Quoting mr.traderDislikedkingforex,
/*if ( (iFXAnalyser(0,MODE_DIV,0)>DVLimit*Point
&& iFXAnalyser(0,MODE_SLOPE,0)>0 )
|| (iFXAnalyser(0,MODE_DIV,0)<-DVLimit*Point
&& iFXAnalyser(0,MODE_SLOPE,0)<0 ) ) { Comment("trending market!");} else {// included by Renato*/
This is the useage code for iFX analyzer, the /* on the beginning form the code block means that it is disactivated... That never can go good on the long run... further i compare the version with mines, there are many difference in code...
However, i see in your statement you turned the SL down, never set them under 300... this system needs place to breath... my oppinion is that also this SL is t close, maybe take 400 - 450 pips for some pairs... But don´t forget, trade max. 0.1 lot per pair and also min 1k $ account volume per pair.
That means: On a 5k $ mini account (1:200 leverage, better more) trade max 5 pairs with 0.1 Lot, than you should be protrected from Margin calls and too big losses ! Note, 70% of time market is ranging so firebird will perform well, with SL 400 - 450 pips you will also alive big trends. A good idea is also to have a bigger pipstep, my pipstep amount minimum steted as high as TP.
Hope this helps,

Quoting traderoneDislikedMy experience running several Firebird versions thru NFP and all other news events has been just fine.
It is the big, steady trend one direction that worries me.Ignored
