DislikedHi,,,, All this is an old story ,,,,if we aren't capable to catch data feed from NT and convert them into mq4,,,,we will always have fake data volume all data is not usable now, but we must convert real data volume by NT before talking about comulative indicators ,,,or from delta other people have already done it other news,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, The ClusterDelta issued the DOM / T & D for Mt4:http://forum.clusterdelta.com/showth...0%B8%D1%8F-2.0...Ignored
DislikedI come back... , I use it for few hours yesterday, but I don't know, maybe in conjunction with something else, it's basically freezing my computer, and it make it work so hard... lot of resources used.. it's doing re-calculation?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have not experienced this. Does the resources usage go away when you take the indicator off?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey spacca. It wouldn't be the first time I've perused the russian boards :-). You know, I think you might be right about the NT thing. More and more I find MT4 to be a mickey mouse application. Its great for viewing time charts, etc, but there are many things that it does very poorly. Sometimes I feel like I have to hack my indicators to get them to work. Maybe I stick with MT4 because my broker does not support NT. And yes, the volume tools on NT are MUCH better then what is available for MT4. Maybe its because NT is used to trade things...Ignored
DislikedI messaged Sciurus directly as a "newbie" I was unable to post in forums because moderation was taking forever... but it pans out my posts are now showing. So I'll continue here for the benefit of everyone else... My previous post should have said: "what happens when ONLY the ask goes down or ONLY the bid goes up?" Sciurus said: "if only the ask goes up, volume will be attributed to the buyers, and conversely if only the bid goes down, the volume will be attributed to the sellers. There is also the special situation where spreads widen (bid goes...Ignored
DislikedMy previous post should have said: "what happens when ONLY the ask goes down or ONLY the bid goes up?" I have my own tick recorder and I'm pretty sure I've never seen volume increase without a corresponding change in price. As a side, my tick recorder often changes price without a change in the tick volume. That's always confused me, but anyway. What I have seen is the ask going up without the bid changing or the bid going down without the ask changing, and volume increasing in those situations. So what's the Volume Delta's answer in that situation?...Ignored
DislikedJust looking into this some more. Am I right in saying that the bid price is actually the ask price + spread. This means when spreads widen, it's the bid price that goes up and the ask price stays the same ? If that's the case, then shouldn't it be that volume SHOULD NOT be applied to the sell side when the bid price comes down AND the ask price remains the same... because in that situations that's just spread reducing. ?Ignored
