Welcome,
I dedicate this thread to evolution of our Excel sheets.
I would like it to be analytics paradise and am prepared to be here alone with my little evolution. You may occasionally have a look, as I am going to be posting my VBA scripts hoping some professional will show up and correct me. During my trading career, I have many times needed to analyze some timeserie, and often wanted to look at it from some strange perspective. Unfortunately am IT analphabet. So I have learned to code VBA basics, coded it like a pig, but somehow it worked and I got what I needed.
For some reason, I believe some of you were, or are, in the same situation and I believe if we share our VBA codes and excel combos, we can make pretty nice stuff.
I am also be using this forum as a store for codes, so they are at one place. I encourage you to help me with evolution of those. If you got any idea how it could be improved please say so.
Disclaimer: These are really silly codes. If you plan to use them, make sure you understand what they do and save your data first, before running macro. All codes have been written in VBA Excel 2010.
Gotta add one thread rule:
Please try to stick it to Excel and VBA analysis. Also AC/DC welcome.
Enjoy,
Tom
