Hi ForexFactory,
This forum is quite welcoming, I've found lots of useful posts and good information.
I appreciate it when I see a post by a senior member explaining things in a way that a newbie can understand.
I've traded FX for a few months, obviously unprofitably.
Few things I wanted to put in writing, some learned on my own, some from this forum.

- I am of the opinion that trading is just TOO easy for new traders to get into.
- In a short period, trading has taught me more about myself than anything else in terms of fear, patience, greed.. where I excel and where I fail miserably.
- I've kept a journal that I fill every week where I shame my bad trades and bolster my good ones. Bad habits form quickly trade after trade.
- The most important thing I know so far is that skills take time. 10'000 hours? 10 years? There's 'Ah-ha' moments, unlearning early misconceptions..
- Threads with the words 'system' turn me right OFF. I abstain from reading any. I'm not interested in systems, I'm a self starter. Let me fail and learn.
- As an uninformed and under-capitalized retail investor I'm bound to be unprofitable and confused for a while.
Hope to be a good forexfactorizen.
Happy Trading
