In the chart you have posted, I'm not using Stop A. I'm using that doji bar as the stop (looking for doji is not the logic). Wherever the dotted line starts from ,is the bar which has been identified as the swing high.
and we always look for the most recent swing high from the current bar. there might be other swing highs before that. but how do u qualify them as 'better'?
a swing high is a high that is preceded and succeeded by lower highs

But which criteria are you using to find the high?
On this chart why do you use stop A instead of stop B?
Don't you think both could have been good candidate?
