DislikedWith regards to the 6 light method, if trading M5, what should be the lowest TF light I use? Thanks for your inputIgnored
DislikedForexample, this setup may not be proved by someone so it could be difficult to find any suggestions.
Mine would be: set it up and watch how it performes before live trading it.
Let's know how it works out, please.Ignored
DislikedHere is an indie that keeps the setting. Also you can toggle it from regular candles to HA candles to by setting regular to true or false, without all the extra clicking you normally have to do when you add/remove HA candles.
Just set the chart to linegraph and the linegraph color to none in the chart properties. Then add the indie and toggle regular from true to false to see HA candles or vice versa.Ignored

DislikedHi,
MissPips,
I tried the ToggleRegandHACandles indicator it is not helping when one toggles between different time frames it reverts back to the the default setting which is width 3, I set it to width 2 since I use a different zoom setting which makes the candles one size thinner, when the width reverts back to 3 the candles mesh together and cannot read them., is it possible to unlock in the orignal program THV3 HA so I can down load again and set the with to 2, also is it possible to do the same for THV3 trend indicator.
ThanksIgnored

DislikedUnderstood...I guess I was meaning what is the setup that was proved by the 7/8 traders over the 1 month of testing? I'm away from my pc now so I don't have the manual; if its in there forgive me and I'll check it out later.
I'm not relying on these lights as all I need for confirmation; just finding them better than the THV Trend indicator for confirmation of direction after trix cross and cloud break while watching out for significant SR lines.
EDIT: I see now the setup in the manual is for M1. So in testing, trades were placed without worrying...Ignored
DislikedA good setup I've found is [5M]
5F
5S
15F
60F
2nd bar:
15S
30F
30S
60S
I trade THV where I have all the lights in the 1st bar must be same color--- and 2[or more] in second.
Rule of thumb [and I've been asked why I have 60 in 1st bar]:
It's not wise to trade against the hour trend. [And I've tested this myself]
Just my setup--and the lights usually go in sequence as well.
It's good for meIgnored
Dislikedhi al! how are u?
how can i put toghether two indicators in te same space?
oh and in your screen i can see that on a 5 minutes chart you have 5 minut slow and fast on the lights you can see it on trix!.. i prefer to have on 5' chart 1 minute fast and slow..Ignored
DislikedHi all-
I've been busy last few days..good to see everyone's doing well here.
I posted a trailing stop EA not too long ago to compliment THV system..a lot of people thought it was complicated, so here's one that's really simple.
No stop hunting here! Broker's can't see it
Hi Al thx for this ea. Is the sl and tp still in place after a disconnection with trading platform, eg. power failure, computer crash or loss of connection.
Thx.Ignored

No it doesn't, as this works like a robot would and it needs to have the information from the charts for it to fulfill it's coding purpose.
This is more like a robot expert advisor.
The trailing stop EA I put on here would work in so far that if the 1st step was reached, you wouldn't lose anything as a value was entered in the broker at that time.Ignored
