DislikedLook, I going to come out and say it here in public.... Putting a protractor and ruler on my computer screen feels as goofy as the goofiest goofball thing to do but.... It actually makes a whole lot of sense and more importantly those lines are absolutely tradeable from the right hand side of the chart. Lots to learn and I don't want to fall down the rabbit/worm holes these could lead, but if I keep things to the core basics...Ignored
Most people say that we trade the right hand side of the chart. That's wrong. It gives the wrong impression and psychologically we are set the wrong way.
We do not trade the right side of the chart.
We do not know the future, we are not omnipresent nor time traveller.
It's impossible to trade future price now.
We trade the CURRENT bid ask quote of the asset.
We have to psychologically align ourselves to this thinking that the NOW is everything.
What happens after we click the button for trade entry that will unveil on the right hand side of our chart is not relevant other than trade management thereof.
The CURRENT price is what we trade.
A big difference from trading the right hand side of the chart.
If the CURRENT price is not good enough we don't trade at all.
Whatever we project onto the right hand side of the chart is a PREDICTION.
GANN, JENKINS, HURST.... whatever are crystal ball methods of PREDICTION into the future.
Trade the value
