Why are you getting long here? There is no weekly / daily / 4H demand down here on NU. I don't even see any fresh zones on the 1H you posted either...

Jonny

DislikedHi All, Looking forward to your comments on WTICOUSD Short opportunity which I see. Curve TF: Middle of curve so need to refer to Middle time frame to identify opportunity {image} 4 Hour: Removing demand zones and creating supply zones so downtrend and look for shorts {image} 1 Hour: Level on top of level (RBD and DBD) entry {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Manogeater, I assume you trade based off the smaller times? Just a heads up you are shorting within weekly demand so be careful Regards JonnyIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Jonny, Thank you for the reply and the heads up, I really appreciate it! I take my trades based off the 1 hour zones so I wouldn't say smaller times per se. May I ask why you assumed this to be so? Should I not be taking trades just off the 1 hour zones? Still trying to learn and hope your answer would enlighten me. Thank you!Ignored
Disliked{quote} I just assumed that as you referred to the 4H removing zones, so using this time frame for a trend bias, and then scaling down to the 1H for entry. There is nothing wrong with that at all so long as you're aiming for shorter moves and keeping your risk / reward in check Regards JonnyIgnored
DislikedI have a question, im getting into a lot of trouble in these scenarios. These RBR zones are they invalid once the trendline is broken and we have a reaction from weekly/monthly? I enter on 4hr so what can happen is price reaches the zone on daily and 4hr creates a demand inside and breaks a down trendline/or takes out a supply. Most of my trades once it returns fail, some have been set and forget which i realize is not good. I presume they should be only with-trend set ups. Are confirmation trades even useless here? So my question is when the trend...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hello JustyJust Welcome to T.I.O.F, good to meet you If i may, seeing that you enter on a 4hr chart, i would encourage you to look at the weekly chart to start with. There are many considerations to be made before deciding on that entry on the 4hr - for example, what is the trend on the weekly?, how far away is demand or supply from where price is? is the proposed trade idea with or against the trend? - "confirmation"/SnF; using a continuation vs a reversal pattern (DBR & RBDs are reversal patterns while RBR & DBDs are continuation patterns)...Ignored

DislikedGood morning guys! I'm quite new to Supply & Demand and I have a couple of charts that maybe you could give feedback on? Blue boxes are Higher timeframe S&D ares Black lines are the more refined areas on smaller timeframe Yellow boxes are Potential Areas {image} GBP/USD 1hr {image} GBP/NZD 4hr {image} GBP/CAD 4hr {image} EUR/USD 1hr {image} EUR/JPY 1hr I look forward to your responses, Thank you.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Edentyld, I generally don't trade based off smaller time frame zones, so perhaps I am not the best to respond to you here... The zones on a whole seem ok from what I can see. Though on some of your charts you have left zones in place which price has gone through and deemed invalid. My recommendation would be to delete any zone from your charts which price has closed through (on the time frame you set the zone on). Regards JonnyIgnored
DislikedHi guys. Just had my first trade of the week. EJ buys based on price forming fresh 4H demand at a Daily zone based within a Weekly zone. Price was super over sold and at low prices for EJ. I was sure it needed a pull back here. I took entry at the retest of the fresh formed 4H zone and banked just shy of my auto TP based on recent price action showing exhaustion on the 15M / 30M / 1H. 2% risked / +4.6% gained. So just better than a 2:1RR really. (4H screenshots shown). I hope this helps some of you. Regards Jonny {image} {image}Ignored
