Hi guys positions got overrun by overnight news on China but recovering now and should be profitable soon.Part of trading experience comes from when to fold and when to hold
Perhaps due to holiday thin liquidity and China wanting to go over phase 1 deal EA shot up swing high but getting to where its manageable and close to turning profitable.
Its always easy after the fact but live trading requires balls
Not going to scold myself for the market's moves that's trading and at times does not go where you want right away but patience persistence pays off.
added more positions on AC and EA after Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes tonight I anticipate stronger AUD

After a shy recovery attempt AU & NU are sinking again towards their multi-years lows dragging down their crosses too.
Rate cut played a role but real catalyst is China slowdown, a positive outcome in talks is the only medicine.

There is a thing called "Turnaround Tuesday" in trading. It references mostly to stocks and index's but is very much present in forex. Price seldom moves in a straight line right off the sunday open. Often you'll see price revisit/retrace from the weekly open and or previous weekly high.

Trader Dante had mentioned in the past the stats on the euro doing the very same thing.

Rarely will I take a trade off the open. If I do then I prepare to close it out as the possibility of it retracing is high. Typically I will wait till close of Tuesday daily and the assess. My typical trades will be in on Wed candle, out by late Thursday or Friday.

RED FLAG CAD NEWS next Monday Oct 21 even though FF factory has it listed as a yellow low impact event, the Federal election in Canada. We have two main parties trying to win the election. The incumbent Liberals headed by twat waffle Mr Blackface Trudeau and the Conservatives headed by Andrew Scheer. The outcome of this election could have a dramatic effect on the future of the CAD which has been beat down. The strongest fringe party the NDP which is a socialist party has said if the Conservatives win a minority they will form a coalition with the Liberals to form a government. The leader of this party Jagmeet Singh has since flip flopped on this announcement according to the latest news reports. ( I wonder if there was a pun intended by the news reporter :FLIP FLOP lol) Jagmeet Singh for the American readers of this thread, imagine Bernie Sanders in a Turban. The Liberals have decimated the Alberta Oil patch and the Canadian economy in the last 4 years and have plunged the Country deeper and deeper in to debt. Nonetheless the results of the outcome of this election are going to have an impact on the CAD. In my opinion the only thing Canadians can hope for is a Conservative majority. I went and voted at the advance polls and I had to lineup for 45 minutes to vote on Thanksgiving Day. I knew a person working there and she said its been non stop busy since it opened three days earlier. To me that's a good sign to see strong voter turnout. Its a Federal offence to move or damage a Political sign. I have seen lots of damaged Liberal and fringe party signs in my area so I think that may be a signal Canadians are mad at the current situation. In my lifetime I cannot recall seeing so many damaged signs. Perhaps some other Canadian contributors to this forum can weigh in on what they are seeing in their regions. My prediction Conservative majority stronger CAD. If the Liberals win, and or the Conservatives win a minority and the NDP flip flops and forms a coalition with the Libtards expect a weaker CAD and a doomed Country.

Update: I got some feedback from some friends on facebook, and a client that phoned me this morning from a couple of other regions in Canada. They are reporting the same observations I have been making. Hour plus lineups at the advance polls and lots of damaged signs in their regions as well. I don't trust mainstream media anymore, according to them its a neck and neck race. If my prediction on a Conservative majority is right we could see a strengthening CAD. These signs are being stuck right underneath Liberal signs coast to coast by a non mainstream media group The Rebel. They funded it to promote a new book dealing on corruption within our current Federal government. https://www.therebel.media/the-libranos-lawn-signs When Canadians stop being polite its time to start thinking.
