Disliked{quote} Thank you. If someone is using Ultron_OP_1 i can post an enhanced version which has new parameters. The new parameters will let you parametrize many of the numerical values which rules the entry/exit dynamics, but were previously hidden inside the code.Ignored
DislikedNewbie question perhaps. The hours specified in the set file (op version) are those dependent on the pc clock, or broker server, anything else? I’m wondering now then daylight savings kick in and whether I should adjust them accordingly.Ignored
DislikedMy broker (ic markets) is moving to GMT +3. So should I add one hour on each setting on my EA? ThanksIgnored
Disliked{quote} I try forward test already best is GU pair with a default setting for other pair may be can use but need to adjust with some value try optimizations to find it and do a forward test on demo I just try version ULTRON_LITE_3.ex4 result is the best version for nowIgnored
Disliked{quote} Yes, if it's shifting to GMT+3 your settings will change from 8 and 23 to 9 and 0 (there's no 24 - after 23:59 it goes to 00:00).Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks! But I'm now wondering if it makes sense since I have been backtesting over years of data and I don't think MT4 takes daylight savings into account when backtesting.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It doesn't. If you use external data with Tick Data Suite, the data is defaulted to GMT, so there's no need to worry about changes according to DST.Ignored
