Hey there!

Just noticed something...your H4 candles look very different from mine (attached, and I've circled some recent bars where the difference is rather prominent due to the existence of long wicks and tails). Your chart looks the same as the 4h chart on this website's home-page so I checked at the 1h level realized that the difference in the 4h chart SEEMS to be because of which 1h candles are clubbed together to make a 4h candle. It appears that my MT4 (desktop OR mobile) starts making a 4h candle about 2 hours AFTER what I see in your chart or on this website's charts. The 1h candles are ALMOST the same for us (except the OHLC numbers show that they're usually only off by a few points i.e. barely a pip.

a) any ideas on why there is this discrepancy in the 4h charts? I don't know if this is useful info or not but I'm in the US (Eastern time) and so's my broker, but MT4 shows server time (as it's supposed to) so I'm not so certain that being in the US makes a difference (but I could be wrong)

b) why could the 1h candles be off by a few points? IS it because different liquidity providers offer slightly different prices and sites like this one just shows an average?

Any help would be much appreciated.

At the bottom of your chart, there seems to be a different indicator every time. Are you just testing out different indicators? Or, do you use them all?

The downward correction is over and I see the long-term (4hr) trend about to resume. Price action along the pattern line could either be spontaneous or gradual but I prefer the latter so I can enter at a good price for the long run.

Still no conviction either way - channel trading and as its Friday peeps are going to be going flat or parking their hedges for the weekend. That said, chart just put in a nice pair of 'tweezers' on the 5M. Still not temped as it looks like its reached balance - back to same level from earlier in the day and over night.
