You know,

I thought after just posting that update that me continuously calling trade entries and exits in here and booking profits could be seen as nothing more than a brag; so I'll hold off any further calls.

Perhaps If nothing else members who have been a regular visitor in here since Christmas might be encouraged by observing a trader who can extract revenue from the markets week after week; but it is is time for me to step back a little and keep my trades to myself from here.

targets 1.228, 1.225, 1.22

ECB minutes didn't do anything for this pair except take it down and there is still an inflation problem with rather poor fundamentals in EU zone, which makes this pair more bearish

EUR, USD]
EUR-USD has declined after a four-day run higher capped out yesterday at 1.2397. While price action so far this week fits talk of there being a sell-dollars-into-gains view following the big U.S. jobs report miss of last week, a big miss in industrial production data provided fresh evidence of there being a notable economic slowdown in the Eurozone. EUR-USD remains near the midway levels of a broad consolidation range that's been seen for some two months now, which has followed a 14-month rally phase from sub-1.0500 levels. More of the same seems likely, with the odds for a big-picture breakout seeming low at the present time..

Thanks for sharing a little more of your strategy. Puts some of your earlier calls into perspective.
While I watched you making money and knew your calls would probably work out I didn't know if they were shorter term or longer, and now knowing some of what you are looking at helps me.

Would it be right to say you are a position trader with some swing trader tendencies?

You are very welcome and thank you for your kind words (Handshake).

I'm very passionate about this business and I know the hell traders go through in this journey..when I have posted charts and levels its not to prove myself a smart ass - its simply to alert traders of something they may not have spotted otherwise - I was lucky..someone taught me but on my own I would have probably never discovered why things happen where they do..

That said they don't always happen the way it is planned and that's why I was trained to 'trade out of random entries' gone wrong..because when you can do that..the fear goes and you become an objective trading machine.

Yes I am a position trader with swing trading tendancies..Managing risk was drummed into me and scaling out of trades whilst maintaining a position for the 'directional' play is how I 'run the book'.

I am with you on the scalp side of trading. I went long at 1.2315 after selling at 1.2340. Probably sell again in the same area and o short again. Just grab and grind a few pips at a time.

It looks at we reach the target area from yesterday.

I.m looking to buy for long term near 22879 in the green area. I expect D1 TF to reach there, or tomorrow to have a spike there to have a better buy.
Now scalp with small TP.
I wait a retracement on H1 to enter short again.
For D1 TF this is just a retracement

Dollar exchange rate rises on Thursday after the softening of Trump's rhetoric

The dollar's exchange rate is rising today to the euro, the Canadian dollar, as investors are less concerned about the statements of US President Donald Trump about the air attack on Syria, analysts interviewed by Reuters say. As of 18:20 Moscow time, the dollar to yen rate rose to 107.32 yen per dollar from 106.79 yen in the previous close. The euro to the dollar fell to 1.2312 dollars per euro from 1.2367 dollars in previous trades. The dollar index increased by 0.38% to 89.84 points. For the same reason, shares are valued and oil and gold are falling.

Geopolitics
On Monday, US President Donald Trump accused Damascus of being a hematician on the Syrian city of the Duma in East Gut, threatening to retaliate, including the military. Moreover, Trump urged Russia to be ready to launch new and "smart" American missiles to Syria. On Thursday, the US president slightly lowered the intensity of the passions on this issue, saying that he did not talk about the timing of the attack on Syria and adding that it could happen "not at all soon". Despite the calm, the situation is far from being resolved. Until the weekend, military operations are definitely not worth waiting for. The first group of experts of the Organization for the Detection of Chemical Weapons in Syria of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons arrived in Beirut on Thursday, a Russian military-diplomatic source said. She will then go to Damascus, where they intend to conduct a complex of convention procedures to collect information about the alleged incident on April 7 in the Duma. Geopolitical factors can remain the focus of investors' attention in the coming days.

Fed Protocol
The protocol of the March meeting of the Federal Reserve System of the United States, published on Wednesday, remained almost unnoticed. The document showed that the leaders of the Federal Reserve discussed the possibility of accelerating the rate of increase in the base interest rate, noting confidence in the strengthening of economic growth and inflation in the US. For the first time since the financial crisis, FOMC members have said that monetary policy, the course of which has long been a stimulating one, will eventually become a deterrent to economic growth.

Euro
The weak statistics on the euro had a negative pressure. Thus, industrial production in the euro area unexpectedly fell in February by 0.8% compared to the previous month, with the weak growth expected by analysts. The decline was recorded for the third month in a row. Another negative was the protocol of the European Central Bank, which reflected the fears of the proliferation of a full-scale trade war between the US and China and the negative impact on the economy of the strengthening of the euro. Members of the ECB called the strengthening of the euro, observed in recent months, a "significant source" of uncertainty, and some of them suggested that the growth of the single European currency could have a negative impact on inflation. Warnings were also voiced about possible negative consequences for business sentiment.

Closing my 1st BUY trade which I opened at 1.2330 manually at 1.2334.. +4 pips fished from this one... lol

Reason: soon vola will drop anyways and this trade was an unlucky one the whole day.. But overall was a very nice day for me.. I hope you all enjoyed..

Nice clean graph. I feel that if it stays below the dotted line below, in the 1.23375-23400 range, should move back down below 1.23. Random news events barring.
Longer term I still think it is a wide range play.
