I assume that you meant that you "wrote" or "sold" a put option, not shorted one. I never heard of terminology of shorting a put or call option. Wow, $150 for silver put that is over $20 OTM by Nov - I'm going to check this out.

The attached indicator is similar to the description in your post, but doesn't have the inputs you mentioned. However, should be able to adjust existing inputs to suit your needs.

Additionally, if you enter long only when the market is trending up, and enter short only when the market is trending down, and only enter trades during trading hours for the pair you're trading, you will have more profitable trades.

Sure there's such a thing as a false breakout. If it doesn't breakout, where does it go? Of course - it returns back to the CZ zone before TP is hit - aka, a false breakout.
