Thanks for letting me know. Cost me $65 total to wire the money. $45 to the sending bank and the intermediary bank skimmed $20. CC would be much cheaper.

There really is no one answer to this. Personally, for small account size I'm willing to take a bit more risk to get things going. 10% hard stop with actual loss being more around 5-7℅. As the account grows im not increasing the lot size so my risk ...

I always have a chuckle at these kinds of posts. My sense is the majority of traders that have made it are busy trading and out enjoying their pips. I can't imagine why I'd be on these forums encouraging people with stories of my success and giving ...

Up to this point I haven't received a reply from the regulator. I did deposit a small amount; it arrived the next morning and my trading account is live. I paid $45 to wire the money and someone still took $20 as it went through the system. Dukas ...

The credit card company said that they won't authorize gambling transactions on their credit cards and that the transaction to dukascopy was flagged as gambling. I don't think they singled out dukascopy in particular but rather they deny all ...

Personally I find 2% too low. I feel like @ 2% I may aswell be trading stocks with 2:1 margin. Additionally I'm not a fan of recalculating the X% each time I make a trade based on my current balance. In the case of loss on balance my lot size will ...

Know the feeling. I wanted to kick myself when it reversed and I watched all that profit vanish. I try to remind myself its a marathon not a sprint. The goal is to be up for the month not the day.

I got out on that trade. My initial entry was stopped out at break even and I took a loss on the add. Technically was a good trade but I should have closed it earlier before the news while I had a nice profit. Lesson learned on to the next trade.

After this trade. I'm have to admit I'm turned off from CAD pairs. At least until they settle down.

I've been a CAD bear from about 95.420 and added more @ 94.758 [CADJPY] I'll admit that its been a bit of a nervous trade. Very volatile and waiting through that range recently was like pulling teeth.
