TC, I am running v32 and I think that the problem is when the EA opens too many trades in one direction before it hedges. So if you limit that number of consecutive loosing orders the DD will be much smaller. I see no reason to open so many because ...

So many good trades on euro this week and i didn profit.

cable — Ok, here is what i think. We almost had a TC on H4 GU, but on H1 the short signal was at .9752. IMO it was not a TC on H1 but more like VT. If you took that signal at least the trade would have been close at BE. I didn t trade this ...

News — For the people interested in how traders react to news here is good info. I dont trade news but you can have an idea about how much impact they have.

pivot — I was talking about the weekly pivot on cable (2.0187 on my chart) set as SL not the daily support 2 at 2.0033, but i see what u mean.

re — Thanks for feedback, I also use pivots to set TP or SL, but today I ignored that weekly pivot line. If I would have set SL a few pips above that line, the risk now was only around 40 pips, much better. I wonder for an example like this ...

cable — Hi, I want to show you a trade that I did not take on cable. The reason I did that because the SL in my opinion was to big. Price pull back from 21 EMA on H4 chart, we had a TC on the H1, R:R>1. So the only reason that stopped me was ...

jpy — ira, imo this is what i think about jpy. The price was in your favor until it touched that thin green line. Maybe some traders got scared about that and they sold.

brettboz, i didn't know you can close only a part of your trade with Oanda. How can you do this? Thanks
- bisar_x replied Mar 11, 2008
ejiexe, I know i closed it too early but i could not not split my lot in order to let a half of it further (I use oanda). I should have entered with 2 lots, I am aware of this.

On my 4hr chart the TC was perfect. The candle closed 30 min ago. This is one of the reason for using 1hr to support the 4hr. Sometimes if you look only on the 4hr you can miss a good trading opportunity. Only my 2 cents.

If the SL is above 50 pips on euro I do not trade. And to enter when the market is in motion is a very risky business.

euro — Just made a trade on EURUSD. TC on the 1hr. Buy at 1,5378. I waited for the price to go above 1.5375 (it also broke that double bar high resistance marked on rectangle). Closed for 26 pips.

LH means lower high and is a macd pattern. If you are not familiar with this please read first pdf in post no. 1 on this thread. TL means trend line and IB means inside bar.

LH — I believe this is what ira mean. The picture is wrong, I should write HL (higher low)!

gbp — We had a TC on the 1Hr but the price found support on the 38 fib and weekly pivot. Any thoughts?
