Typical OANDA. Just when volatility picks up and you need access to your broker, they start having "technical problems". It's a repeating pattern with them.

OANDA is down again, for me at least. 17 days since the last time...I guess that's an improvement.
- dchristi replied Oct 13, 2023
I can't log in either. Again...

Once again, OANDA takes away access to its platform just when we could use it most. What good is a broker that prevents you from trading?

OANDA is down...again.

What kinds of countries need a shield from sanctions? Dictatorships, primarily. Or others who want to pursue their own interests at the expense of the rest of the world.

I'm afraid you just don't understand, and that is that.

The first of many indictments for Trump. He's going to be spending a lot of his waning years in court or in jail. The biggest loser.

Just to take a market at random - EURUSD - all the price action ABOVE the yellow line occurred when OANDA was having "technical difficulties". If you are the type that doesn't mind missing out on being able to enter a move at the top, then OANDA is ...

Someone at OANDA must have made a major mistake during the period you describe. I'm sure he/she is no longer with the company. But let me ask you, did you actually have a trade going in the crash direction at the time? And did OANDA allow you to get ...

OANDA, Any response from you? I didn't think so... image
- dchristi replied Jan 25, 2023
What is advantageous to OANDA's clients is disadvantageous to them. And vice versa. So there's your answer.
- dchristi replied Jan 25, 2023
That would be too obvious. This way they can pretend that "technical difficulties" are preventing them from providing the only service they, supposedly, offer.
- dchristi replied Jan 25, 2023
Don't worry, service will be restored as soon as the market has already made it's move, or once OANDA determines that it was a false alarm. Your friendly Forex provider (OANDA), just wants to prevent you from having access to your account at times ...

Evidently OANDA thinks we're at a major turning point. They just logged me out of their web app, and disconnected me from the desktop app. They will tell you that they are having "system issues", and often try to pin the blame on you. "Everything's ...

U.S. companies are struggling to find workers at minimum wage, which would be their preference. Thus, the large number of unfilled jobs. If U.S. corporations would give workers (vs. shareholders) the portion of profits they used to receive in the ...

Agree 100%. And OANDA suspiciously seems to have its technical issues at times when their clients need their broker (a real broker, that is) the most.
- dchristi replied Aug 2, 2022
Looks like OANDA is down...AGAIN. Honestly, why can't you guys be more reliable?
- dchristi replied Jun 13, 2022
I don't think it's a coincidence that OANDA's servers "have issues" every time we are at market extremes. Personally, I think OANDA purposefully shuts down access to its servers so its customers won't be able to trade at critical times. Your ...

My OANDA is down too -- again. Seems like every other day these days. You can contact customer service, and (after waiting on hold for an hour), they will restore your ability to log in.
