Stop Loss is key — Make sure your stop is in a place that you can live with, if it gets hit. 1-2% is the rule to use. If it has not been hit, then you still have a chance. Only move it if you are in need of tightening it to get to 1-2%. I ...

C'mon — You can't just dangle a carrot like that and not give some details. Help a brother out...

Yep — I have my fibs for that move in pretty much the same area, 1.3745 on my chart. I also have previous strong resistance at 1.3630 or so, with no real reason that I can find, just seems to be a recurring area of S/R. Seems stuck in an area ...

My Fibs — M, I have 3745 as the 38.2 retrace from the high in July last year (1.6300ish) to the low in Oct (1.2930ish) that would explain the strong Res. for the past 5 days. JMHO BS

posting — I use the right click with the copy and paste. That way you can easily get all or part of whatever you want. BTW, your post at #23250 was VERY good and obviously took a lot of effort. Well Done!! BS

Sweet!! — Thanks. Could you make it a darker thicker line for a really big drop....

Careful — I'd be careful on "rules" for one reason. What used to happen all the time has been re-written several times over the past few months. Ex. the eur-usd used to coincide with the dow during the US session. Now it seems opposite. Then ...

glad my SL was above the last high fractal. Took some DD but very nicely added another at 3242 at the 1.28 0800 bar close. Will we see 2800 area ? Down baby down....[/quote] I am targeting 2860 as my first TP. That is a retrace to the 76.4 of the ...

Probably not — Uptrends are "usually" slower that the turns down. Right now, there is not much to drive things up form the Euro zone. May see some ranging for awhile. JMHO

Very Nice — GREAT chart. As day traders, we tend to look at a higher time frame as being the 4 hr or maybe the daily. the big boys look at the weekly and it just confuses us, for the most part, wondering why a certain point is important... Way ...

OK — I am just saying they are connected. did you do the math? The eur-jpy pair cannot and will not move unless either the eur-usd pair moves or the usd-jpy pair moves. It goes back to the carry trade, which does not seem to exist anymore, I ...

Comodore 64 here — I just use my blackberry...kidding, of course. Anything that can run XP should be fine with a high speed connection. dial up is sooooo 2001.

Short looks to be right to me — I think you are right but it may take a little while. 3500 1st TP 3450 2nd TP Exit then and re-evaluate. 3450 is pretty strong support and may/should provide a bounce. JMHO

Not really — The eur-usd took a dive. The usd-jpy was pretty much stagnant and as such the eur-jpy had to fall and follow the eur-usd. The eur-jpy did not lead the way. JMHO

What? — The eur-jpy does not drive anything. The eur-jpy is the product of the eur-usd X the usd-jpy. Do the math. current eur-usd is about 1.3550 and jpy is 91.85 = 124.48 (numbers are approximate, but you get the point)

Very tricky — Things are really "interesting" right now. Very volatile and just when you think you "know" something, the rules get changed. The behind the scenes guys are making life tough. Easiest rule I know is take profit when you can...

None? — I barely had time to think about it, but I put it just above 1.3600. Got in at 3582 and out at 3562. I don't usually scalp, was looking for a longer term move. I still think 34xx may be on the horizon, but I am just watching for the ...

Me too... — Only grabbed 20 pips, but it was a large lot, so I am happy. I think more down to come.

Lots of methods — Keep in mind that scalping, while it can be profitable, is very risky. You might as well flip a coin. Having a system is much better, as the "odds" go from 50/50 to 60/40 or 70/30 or whatever... If you scalp, you still need a ...
