The social and economic costs of the lockdown have been deemed by some as too severe to justify the strict social distancing measures. Also, as the weather improves and the Easter break arrives, it will be harder to keep people at home. Supporters of this view also cite the potential adverse impact on mental health from an indefinite lockdown period. The US has been in lockdown ever since MADD and their fucking little red bows in the 1980s got us to where we can't drive out and have a few beers and socialize without being arrested and having a record. What you feel now is what we older folks felt over the decades. Some became inured and just went along with it. I remember the days of driving out on a nice summer evening with the windows down, to meet friends and gather for a few beers and enjoy a cigarette or a cigar at the bar. Those days are gone, and the worst is yet to come.

It's going to be a very long time for lockdown restrictions to be lifted across the world. This is a deadly virus and is highly infectious! Tourism and hospitality everywhere, even when lockdowns are eased, will be affected for years.....
