The flash crash was inevitable thank God I opened that short on AUD/USD and USD/JPY last week. Pips galore off this volatility let's make money. Don't panic just follow the moves.

The OPEC disagreement was the last straw on the camel back to me in my opinion. Once that fell it caused the oil market to sputter and lose control and all markets had to get the reverb. Let's be honest we have been getting signs for a while we have just been ignoring it. Even last week selling should've been a hint that it could still go lower. Always follow the bigger trend at hand it was dovish and it made sense to stay on the dovish path and just go to safe haven assets.

This has been the most colossal overreaction by morons I have ever seen. The coronavirus is not a pandemic. Look up examples of pandemics and compare this outbreak to those from history. It amazes me how stupid people behave. Because of this faux panic from the virus the Saudis decided to open the spigots after the stupid Russians didn’t play ball concerning production cuts exacerbating the situation. History is going to look back at this as the most ridiculous moment in the global markets.

It's ok we knew the big money had to wipe down the markets enough for us to get a better position. Too many positions where it was like 80/20 big money had to clear that.

S&P Not frozen right now but chart data on TradeStation still looks like Friday's close, with no data update. While SPX CFD on MT4 chart shows the current price of 2820, same as the futures price.

meanwhile as Oil crashed so did all CAD pairs.

When the S&P goes limit down all sorts of weird stuff happens due to uncoupled arbitrage systems and inability to hedge.

Good time to spectate.

USD might be falling now but pls take note that market is like a sine wave, it will reset itself when it is overheated, hence I think this is normal. I am a retail trader and I trade only micro lot, i am buy USD/CHF for the time being, in fact today is my best day in my one year of trading. Cheer up, the market will turn soon. Good Luck

But the problem has been since 2008 that “they have been stopping the fall artificially ” that’s 12 years of helicopter printed money that has only gone into inflating the value of the share market because that was the only asset Where inflated profits could be made from, the bubble had to burst and Covid-19 was the black swan that did it, you and I are also hard earners, I cannot say the same for the banisters and the hedge fund gangsters

Hedging is a very good option during these times of huge volatility, until things settle down, I have tripled my equity in the last two weeks with a well timed hedge, so it does work :-)

This is not rocket science...this looks to me like an Coordinated effort by the CB's but Coordinated.. as Japan the the receiver...they are the only ones to have the cloud to pull these things off, but it has to be coordinated...their are no coincidences.... and this was not one...they knew exactly all the positions that where out there...

no need buddy - respect your trading system, respect money management rules. reduce leverage and you will be fine. and to get everyone on my head now. you have historic levels of employment. as employees get professional. businesses needs to hire every one because of the expanding economy, even the ones who doesn't deserve a job.

and if you invested "correct" in your companies - what's the big deal they drop you buy more right ? that's investing. buying companies even if stock market closed for 10 years right ? than nothing to worry about

you had 10 years of growth. you can't be out in the streets if you played wise. after 2 weeks of downtrend.

and all the wining here. for what ? can't make money without FED ? Are we talking about traders ? or is it socialism ?
