  • US stocks are dropping in rapid fashion. The Dow is now down more than 300 points

    From cnbc.com

Stocks fell on Thursday, giving back some of the gains from the previous session that led two of the three major indexes to record highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 300 points, or about 1%. The S&P 500 slid 1% and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.6%. Goldman Sachs slid 1.8%, hitting its lows of the day in late-morning trade. Intel was the worst-performing stock in the Dow, falling 3%. Apple shares turned negative to trade 1.3% lower. Thursday’s moves come a day after the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit record highs. “This market is just moving on momentum and, at this point, it’s priced close to ... (full story)

Seems the institutions have had a chance to liquidate, selling into the rises, classic and the retailers fell for it, 4hr chart in freefall.

and this is few lines of sarcasm on liars lies

Good morning Bitcoin Land ;-)
Hope you have been"Stacking those $ats"remember every little bit helps.

The paid Ken & Barbie liars doll pundits on Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Forpos , and all the other propaganda MSM channels, are trying their best to distract you from the fast approaching global iceberg.
Whilst selling you deck chairs on the promenade of their sinking Titanic.
It's very entertaining watching the carousel of the so called captains of industry, old liars , being wheeled out by the hooters nursemaid's in the low cut tops and high heels, to sell shares in their zombie companies. Gooo Murdock
It appears world events are beginning to wake up some of your average Dumbo Joe Public, andthey're not buyingtheBS!no matter how much dead money the FED pump into the collapsing system.

Maybe purchasing $100 of Satoshis to get a seat on the Bitcoin Lifeboat, might have more priority than the latest liars products like Apple phone?

Still a nice short to be on. I want to see DOW in 28500 area and below for some time before I will short into a downtrend on the longer timeframes. Until then for me this is just "corrections" and normal market attitude.

Agree there is a big correction coming but the ostrich effect is in motion, when it happens the questions will come, what goes up goes down, some just ignored the down part, a phrase used quite a lot is "a rising tide lifts every boat" but the tide is going out by means of a virus which is having such an impact, some are choosing to ignore.

I think you are the one who doesn't understand the importance of inflation and having a never ending supply of money that constantly increases in order to make the general population feel richer, even though they are poorer, while the excess capital is used to enhance production processes and thus lower the final product cost which will then again be higher due to inflation.

The whole goal of the global economy and monetary system is for you to think you are richer and for your life standard to be increased. And it's doing a great job doing that.

If we had a currency with a limited supply like bitcoin, you'd have very rich ones and very poor ones, there would be no new shares of the pie to give to new people and to distribute in society, that would cause a medieval like system where you have lords and peasants. Doesn't sound that good to me.

Maybe even the one who doesn't understand why the "gold standard" or as you'd prefer new "bitcoin standard" is not sustainable in a society of equals.

So if i were you i'd stop rambling about things i don't understand.

Take a basic economics course, It'll do you good.

Better wait to end of session to create title like "Big correction is started", beacuse i will not suprise if in the end they again lift the all stocks to yesterdays leveles or even or little plus.

I will trust in any correction if we end on US stocks with minimum 70% of total red candel, if red candle will be smaller and create hammer then was only next refill fuel.

Are we trading the same DOW? I don't see any exceptionally bearish development on the 4H chart. You have to wait for the candle to finish before jumping into conclusions.

While correction is spontaneous, crash is man made. The stocks will keep growing after correction. Crash time is approaching but not arrived yet.
The point is to make crash more painful.

Yes we are and yes I see it and BTW, not going off any candles, this may be your indication but not mine, if it were down to a candle it would be too easy, also, "a buy opportunity" as others put it, since when does the market give such rewards, it was only ever a buy opportunity because it was being fuelled to infinity and beyond by those who thought they have the gift of prediction, if this is not somewhere near 28500 tomorrow I will be very surprised, I called it, whats your best view?

Not sure about exact timing but could this Goldman Sachs warning have had anything to do with the sudden fall? https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/20/inves...cks/index.html

I don't trade that way. I try to grasp the sentiment in the market and trade that. I am not working with targets. I take what the market gives me. I have some significant levels on my chart that I will keep a close eye to. One of them is 28500. To be bearish on longer terms I need to see the DOW trade below the 28500 mark and stay there for some time. This does not mean that I am not short on shorter timeframes. I am currently short DOW so if it goes to 28500 that is fine. If not then I have still locked in a great profit. Who cares if it goes up or down anyway as long as we are on the right side we make money.
