  • Fed Rate is too high, Dollar tough on exports

    From @realDonaldTrump

[tweet=1227271072535498754;1581439199]When Jerome Powell started his testimony today, the Dow was up 125, & heading higher. As he spoke it drifted steadily downward, as usual, and is now at -15. Germany & other countries get paid to borrow money. We are more prime, but Fed Rate is too high, Dollar tough on exports.[/tweet]

Strong economy strong dollar. Makes sense to me. Tweet will have minimal impact. Retest 1.09. Nothing has changed to warrant a breakout.

How is the U.S. a more prime borrower than Germany? Germany's debt to GDP is about 60%. The U.S. debt to GDP is over 100%. Germany runs consistent trade surplus and is a creditor nation. The U.S. runs chronic trade deficits and is the world's largest debtor nation.

Not being able to take a loss to open door to a better trade/opportunity, is a newbie syndrom. You can pretend to be a pro all you want...we are not sheep here, try someplace else.

These days 0.25% benchmark seems reasonable considering how much money people suck.

Yeah! Trump is absolutely right the dollar has to crash, it's way to strong compare to other currencies. I'm bearish on dollar pairs and any assistance from Powell/Trump to crash it would be well appreciated the negative swap on dollar short are high.
