  • Top Iranian general killed in US airstrike in Baghdad, Pentagon confirms

    A top Iranian commander Major General Qassim Soleimani has been killed in a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad, the Pentagon confirmed on Thursday night following reports of his death on Iranian state television and Iraqi media. Soleimani, who led a special forces unit of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards, has been a key figure of Iranian and Middle East politics. Earlier, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., appeared to confirm that U.S. forces carried out the strike. “The defensive actions the U.S. has taken against #Iran & its proxies are consistent with clear warnings they have received,” Rubio said on Twitter. ... Possible Iran-US conflict over the death of the commander of Iran's Quds Force. Given the risk of financial aversion to the dollar and Japan Yen safe assets.

The volume doesn't agree with that price drop. Let's see what happens in the morning when USD buyers attempt to defend their positions.

Wait a few days. Iran does not have only one Qasem Soleimani. Wait for Iran to take retaliatory action. Then check where the prices are moving.

Best option would be to buy Dollar... alot of indicators pointing towards increased volatility building in Dollar bulls...

As an Iranian I say its highly probable mostly because our so called leader wants his popularity back
but I doubt it will last long as people are fed up with this kind of stuff but we may have no choice
and for me as a simple citizen of Iran they will send me to the war and refusal will translate into being executed

A great country with rich history is ruined by a bunch of Mollahs who believe theUSA is devil and 12th imam will beam down from heavens to save them. Iranian people deserve better than this.
Again the USA kill someone without a trial, even if the guy was another Hitler, this is not how it should be done.
Does this mean the US can kill a non US citizen with no due process?

What does it mean for you and I if the USA decide we are targets? The Iranian people are not our enemies, the leaders of Iran maybe, but not the people.

This is to do with the Iran wanting to become a global power house in Oil. The US can afford this to happen, so now a war will erupt. Oil prices increased today.

no problem , we will see 34.30 much earlier then even jump a little to 77.70 now with some turmoils . so the situation is very transient before all come quiet and concentrate to only business !
