  • Bank of England chief Mark Carney issues climate change warning

    The world will face irreversible heating unless firms shift their priorities soon, the outgoing head of the Bank of England has told the BBC. Mark Carney said the financial sector had begun to curb investment in fossil fuels – but far too slowly. He said leading pension fund analysis "is that if you add up the policies of all of companies out there, they are consistent with warming of 3.7-3.8C". Mr Carney made the comments in a pre-recorded BBC Radio 4 Today interview. I live in Australia and it was a quite pleasant 24 deg c today. Yeah we get heat waves every year, we also have bush fires every year. Australia is a hot place, I have worked near marble bar WA, its normally above 40 deg c all summer. Notice i said "normally" Heat waves are not something new to this planet and neither are bush fires.

Give it another 20 years and the world will find another name for the new hysteria that we bring upon ourselves. But as for climate change, well it changes every year its called summer and winter.
It's a sensible bet for Carney maybe for his next career move.
Converted climate alarmists who have a previous history in the limelight do rather well.
He can join the likes of Al Gore, another climate alarmist who has also done rather well from the scaremongering.
They can simply drain money out of the climate action industry's pot of funds for their own coffers.
