The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment Stands at Minus 22.8 Points
The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for Germany recorded a very slight decrease of 0.3 points in October 2019, and now stands at minus 22.8 points. It thus remains well below the long-term average of 21.4 points. In the current October survey, the assessment of the economic situation in Germany worsened again, by 5.4 points, with the corresponding indicator falling to a current reading of minus 25.3 points.
