FF changes the colour/impact anytime it feels necessary. I have seen so many news change after being posted. Its extremely vague. Every news site uses their own measure its not universal (obviously), just compare to other news sites.

Every inch of Iran is spied on by sophisticated US satellites. They can visualize licence plates, but here they can't see 19 missiles shot?

All the US has so far is some Colin Powel BS.

Coincidence or opportunism?

Trump sacks Bolton for being too radical against Iran... arranges meeting with Iran...possible reduction in sanction .. and boom... Iran attacks Aramco! Pure stupidity or conspiracy theory...

Who's the loser and who are the winners if America attacks Iran?

It is 5 hours by commercial plane from London to Bahrain. I am pretty sure that a "cruise missile" can make the hop from Yemen to most parts of Saudi in around 30 minutes.

Drones maybe take a little longer. If it was my plan, the cruise missiles go in first then followed by drones while the target area is still running around in confusion.

American officials say intelligence indicates that Iran was the staging ground for a debilitating attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil industry,

Saudi officials said they haven’t yet reached the same conclusion that Iran was the staging ground for the attacks, and indicated that the information shared by the Americans wasn’t definitive.

It is somewhere around 700miles from Yemen to the attack site. Since when do cruise missiles go 1400mph(that is over Mach 2 btw)? Not only that but they don't go past their target and turn around before striking...

Cruise Missile: 550mph
Drone: 300mph max range 1150mi

Where do you suppose Yemeni rebels would get the necessary training and equipment to deploy these kinds of weapons???

I find it hard to believe that the rebels would not only have these drones but launch them in a one time attack without the possibility of recovery of these very valuable weapons.

Well that may be because you do not closely track what is going on in the oil industry. This is not the first attack on Saudi oil by the Houtis as there have been at least 5 others over the period of the last 6 - 9 weeks ----->>> they even hit the an airport in the Saudi capital injuring at least 30 persons. So it is quite credible that the Houtis did it, there is precedence and motive as well as recorded admission. Does not matter that the weaponry may have come from Iran since Iran is their main backer in their war against what they see as Saudi aggression in their country.

Even the US with all its billions in defense spending does not launch drones they cannot recover...

Can you imagine the conversation:

Rebels: Uh, hey Iran, we need a few more drones...

Iran: What did you do with the last ones?

Rebels: We destroyed Saudi oil refineries...

Iran: Why did you lose the drones though?

Rebels: We need more drones!

Iran: NO!

I think you missed the point.
Most rebellions are NOT using the most sophisticated weaponry available. They don't have the money or expertise. Even if they are backed by a large 'rich' nation they are not given the 'big guns'...

Iran just recently developed drone technology. I highly doubt they are giving it away to rebels...

Then why not the U.S. officials publish the evidence of their satellites that shows Iran was responsible for the attack????
Answer is clear:
They know that most people are like you idiots and do not ask them for evidence !
So, they just claim something and idiot people accept it.

Fals flag, trojan horse...etc???

The question is WHY???????
If it's for market manipulation that's OK with me... as long as there's no casualties.
Hopefully it's not something else.
Anyone please stop it before it's too late.

Let's see the satellite images and videos, and have it verified by experts before the US launch an attack, just because the attack was launched from an area inside Iran does not mean the official Iran government were behind it.

In 2003 that is exactly what the Americans did with one of their cruise missiles; they flew it around 3 sides of a hotel containing members of the press just to show a) that it could be done, and b) that such places were not in danger from 'friendly fire'.

If you are aged 30 or younger you may not remember that event.

The cruise launch mechanism is a rocket (except for those which are dropped from a B52 or similar). The missile would slow down when switching to jet-engine power.

Some versions of cruise missiles are supersonic, remember that the manufacturer is probably Russian .. but maybe not.

Cost ... is one of the most irrelevant considerations when it comes to war-time weaponry. Winning is all that matters. The inability to afford the cost may contribute to eventually losing.

How much do you think a cruise missile costs? More than your lifetime's pay that's for sure, or mine for that matter. But that was then, technology always becomes cheaper.

Drones? Even cheaper! Some post-graduate students knocked up a jet powered drone at the aeronautics college not far from me. These days you can probably buy the guidance system from Jack Ma or similar. There might even be an App for it....

This strike was not on Bahrain... it was Abqaiq.

If they were going to claim the attack anyway why go to any trouble swinging the ordinance around to the northwest? That makes zero sense.

I think it would be possible to hide a drone or three in rebel-held territory. Ten though? Or a dozen? And hiding cruise missiles with their launch vehicles?

I am not one to jump up and say it was Iran. I am not going to say it is not possible for the Houthis to have done it. I am saying it is stretching credibility to say they definitely did. I don't have any radar. No satellite photos to show. I am saying the current stories are not making sense.

I am also saying buy dollars.
