Italy: Explaining the Chaos
Italy is a mess. With an average of nearly one new government per year since the Republic was founded in 1946 (that’s 65 governments in just over 72 years), this is not new. While it would be nice to explain the current political crisis in such simple terms, it is hard to overstate the significance of the next few days.
