EU has no other option than to reconcile...
Brits WILL get a deal much better than the one they have now.
I tip my hat off to them, i wish Greeks were as Greeks, as English proved to be and with politicians with balls like Johnsons. Greece would ve been halfway there by now!

EU wont't allow a better deal outside of the club than inside it. If it does, means there is no longer an incentive to stay in the EU.

Also means other countries like Norway will demand re-negotiations with the EU.

EU in trouble as thousands of German/French jobs related to exports to UK and Germany already seeing economic downturn.

If US wants to really help UK, US should place tariffs on EU - that would help UK as EU likely to be desperate for a deal.

Misjudgement. An agreement already exists. Quite likely what GBP will keep on dropping.

Johnson is not against that deal...all he wants is the backstop removal. They will either find an agreement on it or delay the brexit again.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

What does the world see in the ongoing Brexit spate I really don't know.
What there is to see however is it is not the paper pushers in the EU projecting Naval Power in Straits of Hormuz but there are British Ships of War conducting escort service for Oil Tanker transit.
Britain is a Sovereign Power and EU is not.

Better to ask the UNCOMFORTABLE question..

Where is the UKs "Closest Ally" with overwhelming military assets in the area?
What about "The Special Relationship".? Royal Visits? BoJos big DC fan?

The guys that are right behind* UK, and going to do the "Phenomenal Post Brexit Trade Deal."?
Yes.. the people that walked away from Britain in Suez? invaded Grenada?
and bottled out in its Falkland hour of need?

Bottom line.. for traders.. and GBP ..
No US-UK trade deal has a ghost of a chance to pass Congress without the NI Backstop.
POTUS has NO power to unilaterally ratify Trade Deals.
Sorry thats the Real World. Smell the Coffee.

PS.. On protecting UK Shipping in the Straits?
Why has BoJo not phoned up his best buddie ..Mr Trump? Commander in Chief US Forces World wide?
Why UK press/media not asking this question?
Why is UK even having to ASK Germany/France for support to protect UK shipping in the Gulf?

Just for a reality check
EURO/USD weeklies getting sold
EURO/JPY weeklies getting sold
EURO/CAD weeklies getting sold
EURO/CHF weeklies getting sold
Yet Britain with a better economy then EUROland getting sold by market because of paper pushers.

Macro cycles are bottoming out in GBP after 36 year Bear. Says something about how things have worked out for Britain while in EU. Also suggests leaving EU will be a Blessing.

There's always been a tension between politicians and bureaucrats - one wants to own the world the other wants to control it and visa versa. There is so much disinformation swirling around Brexit the situation has become a farce. By example a 'withdrawal agreement' is not a deal, is just a preliminary agreement. Even on the back of this they've already cleaved a separate 'political settlement'. If either side want resolution then the pantomime posturing on both sides needs to end.

Another delay would be political suicide. Bojo has already said "out of the EU by 31st October, hopefully with a deal but not necessarily".

So the reason Boris was thin on detail about his plan for Brexit was because it was no more sophisticated than the most transparent brinkmanship from a position of weakness. God help us! (Still, I'm making a fat profit on this in the short term, so it's not all bad.)

i feel all these are just a show, we and all Europeans know MPs won't let PM leave without a deal , so let huge banks and financial institutions make their profits with lowering extremely GBP without reliable reason.

I cant believe this post?
36 year Bear? Get a grip its a 100 year BEAR. Its called post colonial, post imperial Decline and Fall.
12 years ago Cable stood at $2.10. We established much of our current investment business on calling the fall 2.09 to below 1.40 and before that, our personal investment success on portfolios that depended on appreciation of Euro and gold in late 2001. Thats a lot of years ago... and as they say.. past performance does not guarantee future results..
But hey.. sometimes experience helps.
Brexit is an economically bat-shit looney strategy. I respect the ideological and democratic arguments.
But please give up justifying the economic ones. I really dont give a toss about what color my UK passport is. Maybe because I dont travel on it since I was kid. Ive dual, and my second (an EU member) has proved incomparably safer, more trusted in the six counties worldwide Ive lived and worked in the last 30 years.
BTW.. you didnt mention... are you a UK Citizen?

John Locke figured out gold was and is a crappy way to determine wealth. That was ~1700 and nothing has helped the case for gold in the last 300 years.
