NZ Post $600k out of pocket after woman's deception
New Zealand Post has tightened its credit processes after a woman was able to order over $600,000 of its products on credit before the alarm was raised. The state-owned enterprise took five months to send private investigators to the home of Jacqueline Fraser-Haerewa and Cezar Kite. On Monday, the couple appeared at Auckland District Court where Fraser-Haerewa admitted a representative charge of obtaining by deception. She also pleaded guilty to accessing a computer for a dishonest purpose. Kite admitted receiving stolen property.
