  • Sterling could rise 5% on long Brexit extension

    From think.ing.com

video Speculation that Brexit could be delayed has pushed the pound higher in the last two weeks. And the rally may not be over. James Smith explains what could happen to sterling and the UK economy if Article 50 is extended.

Hahaha... Yeah it probably that’s what it means.
Anyway, as I previously pointed, brexit with or without deal cannot be good for U.K. Besides any extension prolongs the agony and creates more uncertainty, which can hardly push GBP 5% higher than it is now.
The only positive side of an extension is that the probability of canceling the Brexit increases. But again this is as uncertain as far in the future.

So someone please tell me why would GBP increase by 5%???
Start with 1000$. Increase by 3% every day. After one year 2 213 314$

I am sure one day you will get your 1.38...

I am also sure that if I begin today to talk about 1.50, one day in 10 or 15 years period I might get that right. You never know.

Besides, yet again you are confusing fundamentals with technicals. This article is about fundamentals and only fundamentals, while you’re trying to take credit for your technical forecast based on other’s fundamental analysis. Dude that doesn’t make you a better technical analyst, nor a better trader at all. In fact it just makes you look funny and stupid. How funky is that!?

Said that, I couldn’t care less about this fundamental analysis, as to me it looks quite improbable and unlikely to happen. I have my charts and I know they do not show any uptrend all the way to 1.38. If that ever happens any time soon, that would be only because of fundamental changes, not because of your funny TA BS.

Besides no deal Brexit any solution is priced in now. I assume a small delay and UK accept the current deal plus some addtional remarks on backstop. GBP will soon start to travel south. Speaking of GBPJPY it nearly reached bold reistsence @~149.

Timing is essential forex. We are way way too early for that sort of extension upwards. Daily fractal points to lower price is near to mid term.

Trash talking and trading cr.p is all pound is.

Not for me

I'll sell when :
A. All morons screaming buy
B. Lies are exhausted, deals signed, misery returned.

You know i don't trade pound (now) and I'd only sell when time is right...
😱😱😂😂😂💰💰💰

But the 5% up question is interesting.

Same with Aussie etc - cr.p manipulated currency increase when speculation and lies fly about.
So possible next spike when political monkeys bray
Or TMay says next joke - free house in Spain, free French masseuse 😀😀😀😉😉😉😉😂😱

It's all gossip and stop hunts, comes naturally to banksters.
Sadly i understand it, but got no time or desire to apply.

Good luck

Maybe Trump can help you reach your technical 1.38 with fundamental breaking manipulation news so that you can say “Look guys I was right. My chart told me that”

Anyway you shouldn’t have any problems because you don’t trade GBP pairs (if I remember correctly)

So guys we may see GBP spike up a little on Monday, but soon resuming the main downtrend.
Let’s see...

Hmmm … "Sterling could rise 5% on long Brexit extension". It could also go down 5% on a hard Brexit. It could also do nothing.

Just avoid trading GBP pairs altogether, the currency is bonkers atm and probably would be till the end of the year. It's already March.
Read in between the price!!!

Look, you might think technical trading is bullshit and its fundamentals that make the chart. Well, then trade fundamentals, but don't say technical is BS, just because you can't read the chart. I had a 90% success rate in trades in 2018, biggest win 400 pips, biggest loss 17 pips and I trade only chart patterns, I couldn't care less about all the fundamental bullshit or news or anything like that. I trade moves that I see in the chart and let the events/"surprising" news speed them up to hit my targets.

You say dollar might do down, because Trump says so? No, dollar is topping, thats the only reason why it might go down and all the "news" will support the chart, simple as that. Bad news will make dollar fall and good news will make it retrace, simple as that. Just as when euro was topping around 1.25 and everyone was only looking up and when I said I see it drop towards 1.16-18, people were laughing...but it was topping for so long, fundamentals didn't matter, chart won, it always wins, because the chart represents everything thats happening in the market.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

How are your pound shorts from 1.20, euro shorts from 1.04 and bitcoin longs from below 20k? 😂 Why don't you mention those trades anymore? You were trading those into parity and bitcoin into 1 million. You are the biggest troll here...posting trades in every direction now and then quoting only those which work out. 😂

Congratulations, I'm totally amazed by your win rate. I was never able to achieve more than 60% until I dropped everything and started trading daily charts. Notwithstanding, the key to success is money management. Did you keep statistics of your wins by chart pattern? If you did would you mind sharing these statistics for last year; if not which chart pattern did you find best?

The population of Swindon voted yes for Brexit. The city's Honda car plant exports 90% of its production to the mainland. Here is the result that Brexit will achieve:
