  • Consumers price index: September 2018 quarter

    In the September 2018 quarter compared with the June 2018 quarter, the CPI rose 0.9 percent (up 0.8 percent with seasonal adjustment). Transport rose 2.4 percent, influenced by higher prices for petrol (up 5.5 percent). Housing and household utilities rose 1.1 percent, influenced by higher prices for local authority rates (up 5.1 percent), construction (up 1.3 percent), and rentals for housing (up 0.4 percent). Food prices rose 0.6 percent, influenced by higher prices for vegetables (up 11 percent). The average price for 1 litre of 91 octane petrol was $2.18 in the September 2018 quarter, up from $2.06 in the June ... (full story)

hell yeah, i thought NZD news were published at 11;45 am and didn't thought it was night time and now GBP/NZD sinked and was weird what happened until I saw news canlendar that it was at 11;45 pm and got so lucky LOL.

Great news for the NZD. Placed a buy order on NZD/CHF. It had already been gaining over the month, so this should push it up further.

NZ has a massive hike in transport costs as well as alcohol and tobacco and suddenly that's meant to be good for the economy whilst everything else falls .

Seriously some people need their head read.

Honestly, these fake currencies like aussie, kiwi, loonie are pieces of cake.... Often

But since i sleep at night.....no trade. 20-30 pips pre-news enough.
