    Men with fewer qualifications in manual jobs are more likely to be hit by post-Brexit trade barriers, according to the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS). Factory workers in industries that sell a large amount to the EU are particularly at risk, the IFS warned. A number of studies have indicated that people with lower or no qualifications were more likely to vote Leave. A government spokesperson said it had proposed frictionless trade between the UK and the EU. I suspect this scaremongering will continue right upto the final day of the exit agreement signing!
The IFS have obviously been told to find data that can scare people into not voting leave again in case of another referendum. So, as the story states:

"A number of studies have indicated that people with lower or no qualifications were more likely to vote Leave"

The IFS and pro remain media outlets ( BBC ) puts up a headline to scare exactly those with fewer qualifications.

Having fewer qualifications doesn't make these targeted individuals stupid, surely everybody can see through what is happening here !!

Of course people with fewer qualifications are on average dumber than people with a lot of qualifications, so it's safe to say that the dumber half of the population got what they wanted.

So it doesn't look good for the Uk, be scared be very scared.

When I think of the Sunderland car workers who overwhelmingly voted for Brexit, I can't help thinking Turkeys voting for Christmas as well digit1288. No sympathy if they lose their jobs. (The Leave voters anyway)

That might be so and I am not questioning that statement. I am just assuming that this continued negative press might have the opposite effect if there were another referendum.
People can see they are being threatend by these media stories or manipulated into feeling scared and therefore might simply vote against the will of the media and pro remain data companies.
This seems to be what happened in the first referendum here and the voting in of D.Trump in the states.
Maybe the media reports should remain un-biased and voters might make different decisions !

Correct the word stupid is not there but implied by only writing articles that target the groups who "apparently" voted the wrong way.
If news was less biased maybe voters would vote differently that's my point.
This is a nonsense article - FUD incorporated = BBC. So old same old - push out a veiled 'the sky is going to fall in' article with scant info (facts supported by actual figures), written with implied 'insight', 'backed up' by some named 'expert/institution' etc.' On the other side of the argument there will be more work than can be covered by the available work force. Not least of which the backlog of projects on pause the last year - until the final detail of a deal are in place.

funny how Denmark said no to adopting EU rules and had to re run their vote so that they came back with the 'right' answer and ditto Ireland. Case of wanting to re run the Brexit referendum until the UK gives the 'right' answer methinks. Democracy? .... WHAT Democracy?
I don't believe the BBC are biased in their reporting.

The stories tend to be negative about Brexit because the majority of the studies all point to a bad scenario.

How many studies are out that shows a booming and prosperous UK once we leave?

It helps to understand how studies are initiated. Funding!!!,
The only people / groups who are funding these negative outcome studies are those who really want us to remain in the E.U.
There is no requirement to fund and produce studies that show we should leave, as that is already concluded. Who would fund a study to get what they already have ?
The BBC chooses what it reports on and it continues to choose to report on these negative studies. They could report any news item they choose and in whatever way they believe they can get away with it.
I won't contest your beliefs that the BBC is not biased, everyone is entitled to an opinion on whether a news company is biased or not.

Edit: an extract from "Business Insider" of how this stuff is funded:

Notice how he didn't emphasise the weakening of Britain as much as the "Political weakening of Europe"

So the Brits should have another referendum and get the result he and others like him want

The binary Tory Leave vote in 2016 was too complicated for the majority of people, hence should not have been given the vote - Too dumb for such an important decision.

Indeed Mr Soros likes to hedge ... so put out a little 'investment' in the status quo - that all is milk and honey. Meanwhile quietly behind the noise, take up a number significant counter positions. Remember Mr Soros plays chess.

Yup 'binary' is a construct based of an agglomeration of data values. Even at the quantum level things are 'both' until observed - and even then there are ghost linkages. Nothing is ever as it seems - until you look at it from all angles and perspectives.
