  • Italy's economy minister insists abandoning euro not planned

    From mainichi.jp

Italy's new populist government isn't considering leaving the eurozone, the country's economy minister insisted, dismissing financial markets' rocky reaction to the euroskeptic coalition now in power as "normal questions that accompany political transition." No plan to exit from the euro is being discussed." Tria, an economics policy professor who was a last-minute choice for the Cabinet post, went further with his avowal that Italy's ... (full story)

Guys, we are now in Italy's favor on the threshold of great political and economic changes. If Italy vetoes economic sanctions against Russia, then the European currency will rise realistically.

Italy has already thumbed its nose at the EU by not taking in Asylum seekers.

Using the Euro as a currency is fine like some nations prefer US dollars to their own .

Doesn't matter how they spin it the Italians are sick of being dictated to by the EU.

Now the confidence is falling in Germany (the power house of the EU) once that stops those nations in the EU with their handout will find it tough.

Just waiting for the meltdown
