    From federalreserve.gov

Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in November indicates that the labor market has continued to strengthen and that economic activity has been rising at a solid rate. From zerohedge.com

With a 98.3% probability heading in, there was really no doubt the most-telegraphed rate-hike ever would occur, but all eyes are on the dots (rate trajectory shows 3 hikes in 2018), inflation outlook (unchanged), and growth outlook (faster growth in 2018), and lowered unemployment outlook to below 4%. • Fed raises interest rates at Yellen's last meeting as chair

The Chicago Fed's Charles Evans and Minneapolis Fed's Neel Kashkari voted against the decision. This would eventually lift the interest rates banks charge for various consumer-credit products like mortgages and loans. The Fed hinged its decision on the US economy's faster-than-expected growth in recent months and strong job creation. Inflation, however, is still below the Fed's ... (full story)

Keep your pants on -----------> it is an in line correction because price has been falling before now so you should expect this strong rise to allow for a sustained fall. Price is nonmonotonic (that is very important to appreciate). This has nothing to do with news but everything to do with players who have good market visibility and are making very rational bets. But we are going down and you can take that to the bank.

Yep. They accumulated long all week into bottom edge then smashed all the retailers that thought a free ride was gong to happen. Retailers will never make it thinking linear. Its a game of accumulation and distribution. All in plain sight too.

What does that even mean?
Humans are naturally hardwired to avoid and detest uncertainty.
