U.K. Chancellor Sets Aside Another £3 Billion for Brexit Preparations
Prime Minister Theresa May’s under-fire government set aside an extra 3 billion pounds ($4 billion) to prepare for all possible Brexit outcomes, as growth forecasts for the next four years were cut. Opening his Budget speech in Parliament on Wednesday, Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond said Britain’s economy needs to be prepared for the challenges and change to come.
