I agree with your analysis that we are a flock -- including the US. I have no desire for my country to be part of a flock. I want my country to be an eagle. You see, a flock has no leadership -- it wanders aimlessly searching for food and trying to avoid many predators including vermin like rats and snakes that devour their young. Eagles have no natural enemies, save man. The soar above all, their senses warning them of danger well in advance. They don't need leaders -- they are in total control. They destroy vermin -- they build their nest high above danger.

During the 80's we and England had eagles as leaders -- Reagan and Thatcher. The Berlin wall came down because of it and freedom broke out all over Europe.

If our president can learn to deal with the flock of vermin in the US, he will also soar as an eagle.

Incidentally, our founders warned us never to allow a strong central bank. They warned that a centralized banking system was worse than any external enemy.

Reagan pretty much made the economic changes that, as expected and predicted, have been a cancer for the middle class and below while empowering the rich. To his somewhat credit, it wasn`t his idea, he just followed bad advice.

As for eagles, the US is being laughed at even by N. Korea who says they are not thinking of the future when they left the Paris accord... that N. Korea is still in. :-) So all he did was make America a joke overall, you can see it from politicians making fun of him in every speech to well.... everyone openly mocking him.

If you want to be special and alone in the world we have today, you can but you will also be very poor... due to how the economy works. But its no danger Trump doesn`t want that, the tax cuts they are doing now are even worse than the Reagan ones that killed the US economy slowly and got you what you have today.... the time Trump mentions when the US was great was back when taxes on the rich were 70%... not the 14% his plan proposes.

How are you a top member when you can`t even judge such simple things Aussi? Healthcare, Cuba, pulled the US out of recession, highest streak of job creating months, etc... i know that and i don`t even like Obama that much.

He also got the Nobel peace prize while the US was bombing 5-6 countries... :-)

Automation killed half of the jobs, with self driving cars and who knows what else... a minimum guaranteed income is the way but that would just make the prices adjust so who has that and doesn`t work will still be poor.
