It wouldn't come as a surprise if she was toppled before long and another General election soon after?

in as much as the odds is against her,UK needs Political Stability.the parliament and Theresa May should learn how to work together to create that Stability, another General Election could cause another uncertainties, besides the people might even be tired of going to the polls again

The Conservative Party thought that they were going to shaft the Labour Party, because they were 40 points ahead of Labour, and called a General Election, under the premise that it would strengthen her hand in the Brexit negotiations, and that she would have the majority to push through her manifesto pledges. Unfortunately everyone underestimated Jeremy Corbyn. Even with the medias venomous hate campaign against Jeremy Corbyn he maintained his dignity.

This is still within the expected range though. She made a gamble and loss, simply like that.
