"Our military is closely monitoring for provocative movements by North Korea and is maintaining all readiness postures," a statement from the military said. The missile, launched near the city of Kusong, flew 700 kilometers (435 miles), the South Korean military said. A US defense official confirmed that it flew that far, but said the US is still assessing what type of missile it was. Would gold be a good alternative to JPY pairs? I am long gold since comey's firing, imo things could get only worse in the USA and internationally.

Hey buddy Long time no see I hope you do well.

As for E/U - Unless Trump tweets soon that the US $ is too weak, I believe the uptrend for E/U will continue to 1.0950 - 1.1050 area.
lets see...
Trade smart mate. Cheers...

Indeed - as long as the world, the UN and NATO continue to sleep and ignore this threat, this is a very bad news for the world. We need to wake up. We need to do something until we have the superior power to prevent this idiot from dancing his crazy dance. Don't let this crazy infantile keep the whole world in a kind of deadlock situation.

If UJ falls out the bed & UChf drops, EU goes up from the Usd volume selling & UChf correlation. It's not a flight to Euro. EurChf would drop as well.

I dont think there will be any gap in jpy.
Bcoz its almost 19 hours since the news came out.
But if the news comes out at the time when markets are open than it will have a big impact on jpy and its pair.
Thats my idea..

If we're predicting gaps, it'll be a gap down in Xxx/Jpy pairs as of right now. Nikkei futures are down will open -0.80% from Friday's close.

Some thought should be given to the fact that Japan is probably going to be one of N Korea's first targets if they decide to strike... so the yen isn't as much of a safe haven in this context...

I'm not confused about who you mean. I am curious what you think we should do about the hermit king.

NK was all the news for weeks, then disappeared replaced by Comey. Soon something else will have the media gaga and Comey will be forgot.
