I don't think he needs any help to fail - all his promises were empty and that's just being revealed.

The "establishment" is simply continuing with business as usual precisely because his promises were empty - he has no people to carry them out for/with him instead of the "establishment".

When people eventually realise that they have been shat on from a great height by the EU and its like, it is incumbent upon them to come out and say it. How else will the EU ever learn, if the electorate don't voice their opinion. It is not the voice of the people that is wrong here, but the way in which the EU has conducted itself that is at fault. The generation of 2100 will be proud of their parents for taking a stand

The quote is He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches. Typical EU apologist libtard, can't even get your facts rights, typical EU apologist Libtard, you don't like the truth but can't counter the comments with anything substantive.

Whether we trade or not is irrelevant. Quiet honestly, it is non of your goddamn business what anyone do in order to have a valid opinion. My son, who is not a trader holds similar opinions as do many of my neighbours and they don't trade either. So the correlation between having a valid opinion and trading is erroneous, a little flaccid link you would like to true................... but isn't. Next time, counter with facts, research or cogent debate, otherwise STFU

It's Great Britain actually, but let's not forget NI, so we are called the UK. Computer illiterate as well; ask some generous soul to explain to you how to do links.

It's the greatest oxymoron of all: a "trader" who's a libtard, playing the biggest game of Capitalism. So, I have to question who is the pseudo-trader? Then again, hypocrisy is a strong point for those such as yourself.

Know some of you folks will get a chuckle out of this -- The competition isn't remotely close to hurting Trump. He is running circles around them. He is changing so many things under the radar that it will be driving libs crazy for years to come. When he's ready to do something big ( getting rid of a regulation or cutting funds from a democrat sacred cow) he tweets something unrelated ( being wiretapped) and the media is thrown off course and goes nuts. He has surrounded himself with some of the best brainpower in the country, people that have accomplished something -- not boot licking politicians, most who have never held a real job. Our president is not a politician. He is a patriot who intends to plug the holes (caused by 100 years of creeping liberalism) in the ship of state, bail out the slime (drain the swamp), and set course, once again using or constitution as the chart to pilot the ship. Exciting times in the USA!!

People like you who sneer at patriotism and love of country are disgusting. There are many patriots in the US. I am one. Europe is covered with cemetery's filled with American patriots that came over and kicked your country's ass (twice) to stop your and Japans murderous aggression. Members of my family are buried there and in the Pacific. After the war the United States spent a large portion of our wealth rebuilding your country instead of enslaving it. We pulled off the greatest airlift in history to save your little town from falling totally into Russian hands. Later, Ronald Reagan brought that wall down. You and your ilk don't deserve the freedoms patriots have given you through death, injury and their mental well being. You wouldn't make a decent pimple on a patriots ass. That substance enough for you?

I'd say very interesting times.
Trump continues to surprise but his comment and behavior aren't those of a serious leader.
He is an embarrassment, look at how he behaved towards Angela Merkel.
He didn't want a handshake but its not because he is germaphobic
because he didn't seem to mind the Japanese germs, he was all over Abe's hands the other day

He is clearly disrespectful of women and the right of every human to enjoy their lives and be the best they can be. For someone who has been selected by Russia he should be ashamed of himself but clearly that word (shame) does not sit well in the same sentence as the word Trump.

{quote} When people eventually realise that they have been shat on from a great height by the EU and its like, it is incumbent upon them to come out and say it. How else will the EU ever learn, if the electorate don't voice their opinion. It is not the voice of the people that is wrong here, but the way in which the EU has conducted itself that is at fault. The generation of 2100 will be proud of their parents for taking a stand

No, actually the generation of 2100 will read a book like this one about the generation of the 2020's-2030's

The similarities (in mentality and attitudes - not in facts) are really disturbing.

Did anyone notice how Trump put a picture of A Jackson up in the Oval Office?

Who tried to assassinate Jackson? Why?

I like the fact that the frequency of your comments during weekends extremely decreases.
Yet, during the week it goes through the roof. They apparently give you time off during weekends. So interesting.

So afterall, the Ruskis DO infact give you a break during the weekend. I am still just wondering how much they give you per comment. 1 rubel per one? 1 pound per one?? We want to know! Share your working conditions with us. Come on! Dont be so shy, you dont have to be ashamed of working for a ruthless dictator whose biggest regret is that the Soviet Union dissolved. Let it all out, we are here for you

Remember, nobody is judging you for who you are or what you do. Everybody is curious though.

You are right, people should read this. The similarities between the EU and the Nazi party are there to be seen, with the exception of the violence and Xenophobia. People could learn a lot about how the EU is going to look and function in years to come, if they have not already recognised it. If further proof were needed, many of the founders of the EU were Nazi's and Nazi supporters including Walter Funk, Hans Josef Globke, Paul Henri Spaak, Prince Bernhard, Theodor Heuss, Kurt Kiesinger, Walter Hallstein, Alfred Toepfer, Alcide De Gasperi.

Nation states are little more than second rate regions in the evolving Socialist United States of Europe. The electorate already has no say in its leadership and its leadership is accountable to no one. EU diktats and EU laws are not formed of influenced by the electorate or even the MEP's but by a bureaucratic elite in Brussels. Even MEPs are not permitted to know (even prevented from knowing) who has been involved in their formulation. 53% of the EU parliament voting is controlled by EU federalists, so there is no chance of any other view prevailing.

Where as the Nazis needed guns to carry out their will and vision, the EU has instead the Euro and EU grants as their weapons and these are way more effective, just ask the Polish, Greeks, Irish or Spanish.

Fascism is alive and well in the EU, it is the EU. It has morphed into a non violent version, where it has an economic stranglehold on nations and this is altogether more powerful than anything Hitler could muster.

Great words - typical for Internet-super-heroes.
At this time, in the thirties the US calmly watched the killing of thousands of intellectuals and even had financially supported the growth of right-wing radicals in Europe. Afterwards this love ended in WWII.
In no way, I want to reduce the courage and contribution of American soldiers in the liberation of Europe from the same right-wing radicals in the last year of the WWII in Europe.
And don't be funny with your Disney-dolls, because Regan could not find Europe on the globe. He was better known as - SpaceCowboy.

I wonder if these disgusting liberals ever stood silent over a war cemetery in Northern France, feeling the haunting air over the forever scarred landscape. Thousands upon thousands lying buried in the immaculately manicured ground and what for? A mere "thank you" somehow seems pathetically inadequate. So what can we do? The least is we never forget and we make sure that their mission is enduring and not in vain. Yet, that is still only a very small act of gratitude for such a huge sacrifice.

This is typical of how the libtards and EU apologists usually reply. "I don't like what he is saying" so most can only retort to the facts and research by calling the contributor an idiot. It strikes me that you have no real knowledge of the EU and certainly you have yet to display any knowledge of the subject. In truth, the real mark of an idiot is someone who enters a debate or discussion and knows nothing about the subject. I'll leave it to the contributors to make their own minds up on that one

He is an embarrassment, look at how he behaved towards Angela Merkel. He didn't want a handshake but its not because he is germaphobic because he didn't seem to mind the Japanese germs, he was all over Abe's hands the other day http://edition.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/02/10/trump-abe-handshake-vo.cnn

First off, you need to get your news from a source different than CNN, ABC, NBC (MSNBC), CBS, New York newspapers, ect. They have become the propaganda branch of the democrat party. They have actually stated they intend to undermine the Trump administration and bring it down. As to your question, will give you my opinion. The president probably likes Abe and doesn't care for Merkel. Merkel was Obama's strongest foreign "pal". (even though he had her wiretapped) She also let 1.1 million "refugees" swarm into her country, people that have no intention of adapting German customs and laws. Germany will pay a huge price for that. Abe, on the other hand, is very concerned about North Korea and most likely discussed protecting his citizenry. Our president respects that. As to your opinions about Trump -- they are yours, not Americans that voted for him.

Point 1. Same as the formal definition: "A person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors." As for for dumping the respect, that's OK, it's not critical to the quality of my life. And besides, you probably never had any in the first place.

Point 2. I agree with you on most of the wars since WWII with the exception of Afghanistan after 911. Korea, Viet Nam were both started by democrats with no intention of winning. Except for Reagan, we haven't had clear visions why we have been in combat, or a plan for winning. Trump will change that. If you think that the last patriots died in WWII, you are a bit warped.

Point 3. You really are a lib -progressive or whatever you are calling yourselves these days. You only like rules, laws. and the constitution when it suits your purposes -- any other time they are "outdated garbage" to you. The people ARE NOT turning on Trump -- only the establishment (and you libs) who see him destroying 100 years of creeping socialism. Your crowd is actually terrified of him.

I'm surprised at your ignorance. Even you should know Truman got us involved in Korea, blaming it on the UN. MacArthur wanted to win the war or get out. Truman fired him. We had a few advisors in Viet Nam after the French were defeated and left. First 2 Americans were killed in a raid in 1959. After Khrushchev pledged support for the north, Kennedy (democrat) sent in the first 400 Army special forces to train the ARVN's. By the time Kennedy was assassinated, he had put 16,000 troops in Viet Nam. Johnson (democrat) escalated the war dramatically. Goldwater said win or get out. The democrats painted him as wanting to blow up the world. Johnson (democrat) botched the war up so badly, he was forced not to run for re-election. Facts are a bummer to a liberal.

Some months ago we had an since "retired" member here who relied for justification for his highly conservative world views on his patriotism. As an exmember of the US military, he cornered the patriotism market. Any criticism implied or direct of his posts were threatened by frequently abusive and ad hominem Rambo" style rehetoric and to questioning the patriotic integrity of anyone disputing his right wing views. This actor proved a very effective voice in the shaping of views and support for the Troll agenda. And was staunchly supported...

No, I don't remember. Eisenhower had no ability to start war until he became president. Would like your reference to the promise you reference though. Eisenhower did, however, end the war. As far as your walking up to a Marine and insulting him without getting your lights put out -- you are simply a liar.

I do have a question. You say there are no American patriots since WWII. The men who died at Benghazi defending our ambassador and our compound -- you know the ones that Hillary and Barack allowed to be murdered to save their political careers -- how do you classify them -- fools, dumb military types -- what?

You think only Marines are combat trained? That's just stupid. When I was younger I saw more than one jarhead get his ass kicked for thinking that. It's funny how many of those types have to get reminded, usually by an infantry man that they are only Marines, not Navy Seals. If any Marine I have ever talked to got insulted, I never knew about it. In fact, those of them who are realistic about what most combat operations are actually agreed with me. As far as the Eisenhower administration goes, here is one of dozens of links on that subject. http://www.shmoop.com/vietnam-war/dw...isenhower.html

Those men in Benghazi died doing a job not defending America from any kind of imminent threat. They were not drafted to go fight a war. They worked for the state department and were well aware of the dangers. Get off that farm in Mississippi and stop watching so much FOX news.

If further proof were needed, many of the founders of the EU were Nazi's and Nazi supporters including Walter Funk, Hans Josef Globke, Paul Henri Spaak, Prince Bernhard, Theodor Heuss, Kurt Kiesinger, Walter Hallstein, Alfred Toepfer, Alcide De Gasperi....

Been fun. You claimed the Korean and Viet Nam wars weren't started by democrats -- they were. You claimed Eisenhower was responsible for Korea. You divert the subject with some quote concerning Viet Nam. You lied about walking up and insulting a marine -- lied again telling how many you've witnessed getting their ass's kicked. You say none of the defenders of Benghazi or any of our military are patriots. I gave you my definition of a patriot -- you didn't give me yours. You are truly a full blown, kool aid drinking liberal, progressive or whatever you call your self. You probably also lied about who you voted for: sounds like Obama twice and Clinton last time around. You need to skip off to happy land with KPMG (he admires you), cliff, donff and the boys -- pretend you're ninja turtles, hum kumbaya and discuss what mean neanderthals all us conseratives are. Jarhead, you have some issues. You cannot conceive it, so it must be a lie. If you pollute these news threads with that right wing nonsense, I will be waiting. My definition of a patriot is anyone who fights in DEFENSE of this nation. You know, like our Founders intended it to be. Imperialism is not defense, and you know what? A lot of soldiers know that. You are entitled to believe what you want at your point in life. Maybe it's better that way.

Humans are inherently tribal and territorial, as are most animals. Humans have operated largely successfully in this way for thousands of years. Europe is a continent of disparate nations and disparate cultures. I see nothing wrong in these nations wanting to protect and operate as individual entities. Cooperation between nations does not require the self serving EU. The EU is merely a bureaucratic construct and almost an EU United States. The EU does not have to survive

There seems to be a concern about the survival of the EU if Le Pen wins, right? I engaged you about the concept of nationalism of which you seem to have gotten lost about. Nationalism is an artificial construct. Do you have the context now?
Ignored
nationalism is an artificial construct because of the actions of the libtard mentality.

Clothes and shoes are artificial constructs. Your house is too and the boundary. Can we send them all over to stay with you?

Actually, the law of the land is also an artificial construct. Hey, I know, let's have anarchy! Silly me.

However, the UK boundary is not an artificial construct, it is a natural one as we have a big moat. So leave us out of it.

quote=Devauxt; Humans are inherently tribal and territorial, as are most animals. Humans have operated largely successfully in this way for thousands of years.
UK is a country of disparate nations and disparate cultures. I see nothing wrong in these nations wanting to protect and operate as individual entities. Cooperation between nations does not require the self serving UK. The UK is merely a bureaucratic construct and almost an United Kingdom. The UK does not have to survive

Is that what you want at the end - PampersBoy?
Big dreams for a little boy from province.

{quote} I'm not in the habit of repeating myself in vain. The English in each sentence is clear enough but you have not related or linked them to anything in this thread. It seems to be a habit you have

Perhaps not, but at least I can claim that all my opinions are my own and everything I write is original. Can you do that?

I told you before, you mustn't call me hun. Trust me little Cliffy, I really am not your type. SOS is. And you certainly are not my type, for I prefer my men somewhat less limp and with a tad more presence. Comprendez?
