PricewaterhouseCoopers explains Oscars best picture gaffe
PricewaterhouseCoopers, the accounting firm that tallies the Oscars voting, told ABC News in a statement that presenters Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty were given the wrong envelope when they went on stage to announce the winner of the coveted best picture award. Beatty made a similar claim shortly after he and Dunaway mistakenly named "La La Land" the best picture winner, explaining to the audience that the card he read stated, "Emma Stone, 'La La Land.'"
