    Love hurts, but for the least pain to your pocket for a Valentine’s Day extravaganza, head to Prague. In the Czech capital a bouquet of roses, a visit to the spa, a fancy dinner, a trip to the cinema and a night in a luxury hotel will cost about 380 pounds ($475), according to florist Bloomy Days. In Los Angeles, the same combination comes to almost 1,100 pounds while in Paris -- to some the unofficial capital of romance -- you’ll be set back about 570 pounds.

That's WHY I told my loved one to not buy me roses on Valentine's Day anymore instead on my bday. My bday is in November, roses are dirt cheap in November. As long as romance is there, spending money is NOT the only way to celebrate it.

As the Mastercard commercial would say: Spending time with your one and only? Priceless. Everything else? There is creativity.

Oh TRUST ME, I am getting PLENTY of "good things in life" on Valentine's Day just not the overpriced bouquet of roses that's so expensive that my loved one doesn't even dare to tell me the price and only lasts a week at most
