BoE's Carney Has Variety of Ammo in Brexit Arsenal: Strategists
London - The Bank of England (BoE) will have a wide range of measures to keep the shock of Brexit under control, while analysts have different expectations on the central bank's possible approach in the coming months. "We'll see more emphasis on measures to ensure the flow of credit to the economy remains steady," Samuel Tombs from Pantheon Macroeconomics said on Monday. "The BoE will be cautious about cutting bank rate and QE because of the inflation outlook, so they will focus on supporting the banking system with measures such as the countercyclical capital buffer," he added.
