  • Thar she blows. What next for USDJPY?

    From forexlive.com

That's more like it. It appears we may have a proper break on the cards now. The decent technical support isn't down until 106.60 odd. It's not been an explosive move which suggests that there's no panic hitting of the sell buttons. Large stops are noted at 109.80 so they remain in play. The orders from Mike's earlier post also remain valid but technically there is scope to see a rapid move to the low 109's from here. Watch for 110 to start building resistance and a hold will signal further downside. There's another barrier at 109.00 with the usual bids and stops. Update: As I hit send we see a pop to 110.40. I await ... (full story)

Kuroda is freaking out right now. Tomorrows news should be interesting. More QE? Presser will be a looker for sure! This is something the BOJ does not want. Although more negative rates are probably not in play, but another surprise to catch everyone flat footed like the last time is a possibility? Who knows. We will see. Either way, hard to stop the momentum now.

confused...people goto JPY for safety. For some reason, people believe JPY is a safeheven to USD. So let me get this straight when USD goes down it goes down with all currencies and when market go down USD still goes down again JPY because it is safer? Please advise me.

Kuroda ruled out any currency intervention as I read.
Looks like some one sold USD to buy back after FOMC? It would be interesting to watch. Staying on the sidelines keeping my $ safe

Classic Bull Trap. B.O.J did not hold up the 110 handle, instead the swept-up all the stop's and got some easy money from all the Retail Buyer.

In English they say "like a cat on a hot tin roof", as in Wikipedia

First, a 'hot cat' is more likely to be not moving, except when searching for shade. Second, having all the words is not enough - they have to be also in the correct sequence.
