    At today’s meeting the Governing Council of the ECB decided that the interest rate on the deposit facility will be decreased by 10 basis points to -0.30%, with effect from 9 December 2015. The interest rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rate on the marginal lending facility will remain unchanged at 0.05% and 0.30% respectively. Further monetary policy measures will be communicated by the President of the ECB at a press conference starting at 14:30 CET today.

Surprised eurusd is holding up so well. Any reduction in rate should be pressureing euro. Let's give it a few minutes.

This is resulting in short term relief buying. Long term the pressure will continue on euro as Fed is looking to raise rates while ECB is still in cutting mode.

This happens all the time. EUR/USD will go back down tomorrow. I was on the losing end, I just hedged, close it EOD and short again.

I'm on the opposite side of todays ridiculous movement. Really do wish it drops tomorrow instead of going further up.
I am pretty comfortable for it to go up further and retrace. I dont see any chance of a rate change for USD hence it shouldnt strengthen any more than it already is.. #enjoying the kill

euro is oversold usd is over bought, euro been gettin some good numbers of late, i can see quite a big move back up as ths move has been anticipated for some time, market has already price in move noone was execting any move lower today unless theere was a suprise. as for ft, bloomberg done the same the other day with oil, iran and opec have agreed to drop oil production, then literially 2 secs later oh wait saudi arabi havent agreed, fookin jokers!
