  • US $ tumbles across the board as Europe shows what it thinks of Fed decision

    Or rather lack of it. So why the delay from last night? Well, blame that on profit-taking or lack of mettle but it's been a steady move in this session after early two-way trading before Europe got fired up. EURUSD has posted 3 week highs of 1.1453, GBPUSD 3 week highs of 1.5633 while USDJPY is down to a 10 day low of 119.18. USDCAD has posted 4 week highs of 1.3065 helped by firmer oil prices while both AUDUSD and NZDUSD are also enjoying the ride as European traders give a thumbs down to Aunty Janet and her sitting on hands policy.

Are you saying this is a temporary move for the moment? Before the usd swings the other way.
There hasn't been much of a follow through today after yesterday. I heard Feds are still maintaining rate rise before the end of the year, so we shall see whether market believe them or not.
USD is still strong and I will be switching to buy USD.
I guess the U.S. is showing what it thinks about what Europe thinks.
