  • Mobius: Oil's fall is purely sentimental

    Investment guru Mark Mobius has dismissed claims that an oversupply of crude is behind oil's sell-off, and believes the end of the broader commodities rout is in sight. "If you look at the supply and demand growth of oil in the last 20 years, roughly it's been 1 percent growth each year. But within each year, the [price] range has been plus/minus 5 percent," he told CNBC on Tuesday. "The price is purely sentimental. It has no real relationship to long-term supply and demand." i think oil is sell-off more because it seems that the price is going to fell down after the export of Iran in the oil market and oil decrease to 38.52$ per barrel. in October to November 15,2015

Mobius, as always, knows what he is talking.... My models indicate a long term fair value for oil prices of 77.25

We're in the worst, biggest deflationary cycle of the history.
That's behind the price of commodities and will be every asset-classes.

But after that due to economic recovery all developing nations can boost up there productivity and then the oil price is going upward and its resistance level would be 67.3 $ per barrel. In october 18,2016

i dont know but, oil prices are supposed to be stable at 40$ as worldwide markets are having enough self sufficient resources of Crude.
