We need confirmation from other sources.

I don't use FT.com-question is, does anyone know for SURE they're reliable?

My take profit margins were hit, and I simply reloaded my shorts with a 22 pip gain.

It's about the:
The two-page letter, sent to the heads of the European Commission, International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank, elaborates on Tuesday's surprise request for an extension of Greece's now-expired bailout and for a new, third €29.1bn rescue, writes Peter Spiegel.

No, foreign exchange is a market where rumours often influence markets, only to be corrected later on. We've had previous rumours about greek debt issues, only for them to be provven false and they caused 30~60pip movements before collapsing down.

It's an unfortunate side effect of the prevalence of trading with social networking systems.

And if you don't believe me, just search for yourself about how rumours can temporarily affect prices by several dozen pips. They may or may not revert back to normal, but they are most certainly real.

As a intraday scalper, I prefer to place my bets on more reliable confirmation, since it's my money and income on the line.

its confirmed false. Because if that was the case Tspiras government might as well just give up and resign from political office. without a fight. What would be the point of all that. humerous

Don't believe it. Even if he does accept it today they still have a referendum in the offing. So then he can turn round and say the people have spoken. We need to renegotiate........

the referendum would be a de facto vote on Tsipras' future as PM - he knows that, so don't be surprised that he caved

You don't call a referendum and then two days later put both hands in the air - best policy is stay well away from the ff news section, take note of the red flags at the beginning of the day and ignore everything else.

Seems there is some substance in this news. Every site is reporting it. But why wait till the last minute before accepting a deal if not for some hidden reasons. Tsipras wanted the Euro to drop deep before he comes up with the news so they can make more money to pay their creditors.
