mate there was a reason people were putting buys on the aud before the news came out like me little bits of news over the last few weeks saying jobs were happening its was no surprise here

even if the aud fell at this point the swap on aud depending who you trade with is good and a longer term trade here will build for you , if you have enough margin to cover it

So the question is...will there be any follow through on the buying up to and above .7800 or was this a one shot wonder? We already know the Fed won't raise rates in June...and it looks like RBA won't lower rates at the next meeting now. So what will the market makers do with price?

probably a very good guess! ADR has already been met for today...not sure how much more upside it has left. But you never know, could be one of those 150-200pip daily candles. Although I won't be buying the highs!

Remember earlier on when the RBA said they wanted AUDUSD to be around 0.85 then they changed it later to 0.75? Well it's bouncing in between these numbers. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to 0.85.

Why not? The fundamentals seem good.

I agree with you. I saw a SAXO fx trader open a long 250k volume just behind 24 h form now, i was wonder why he take long. 4h candle showed somethings but it was hard to open a long position then. his position was .7578 so far i remember.

Yes whatever may have been the reason, it just was odd why just when London closed only US on line, and only the aussie, but it really does not matter why it moved it moved and I moved then and I moved again 30 minutes before the announcement.....It was a Good move yesterday or in total the 2 days of approximately 200 pips not bad i say....

Sure the empire was not good and the other 2 along with that, but that move for those announcements was long before the other moves, yes the eur nzd and so on moved exactly at the same time, I dont trade them, I only trade 2 currency pairs I missed that.....anyway to me it really does not matter insider leaks or not, I like those types of moves as i look into the next day and see what may be going on, so i trade before the spread changes, To me it is an indicator when odd moves happen like that and I do trade them...Nothing More Nothing Less....

And it's after Philly news, still below .7800. Lots of sellers, supply there. Not sure if traders work through that or not.

Commodities rising, a blowout employment report, and signs of inflation implying tighter money.

Wouldn't be surprised by an insane rally here towards 0.80

Very strong data for the AUD. 31,500 of 37,000 jobs created were full-time employment. EUD\AUD is trading as we speak around the low from last week, watch out for a break lower.

I think you should check your diary again and look for the drop in imports from China!

And probably every other time you think there is leaked info refer to news coming out of China, it may fill the gaps for you!
